A big thank you to all the great volunteers who are helping in the gathering of information and the requesting photos for all the WW II memorials. I am getting so many additions that it is possible that I did not send a thank you but be assured that I am very thankful.|
Photographs and pictures I have taken or posted may be used for only non commercial purposes. If I have posted a photo on a memorial and that memorial is removed the photo cannot be used for any other purposes.
I am no longer a Photo Volunteer due to stolen pictures that have been copied and then placed on new memorials.
Most of the Memorials I manage are not relatives. I transfer management outside the Find A Grave recommendations. Please ask for transfers the recommended way.

Rich,How do I get all my photographed contributor tools as my managed cemeteries? Also Is proquest the only way to get free obituaries?I'm in need of pinpointing my grandfather's uncles and their names hyman and Jacob are so common.The only way I knew about the 2 uncles was reading my great grandfather's obituary of 1926.I'm also trying to pinpoint how my brina is related to my great grandmother.Supposedily my uncle brian was named after brina whose surname was brimmer.I've got a pretty good idea how the family tree is with brina and her husband morris,but not knowing my grandfather's grandmother only the grandfather's name as stated in death certificate is still a problem.Alot of the death certificates never mention who the mother was.As for the Hurwitz,brina's son Louis's second wife Beulah hurwitz from Palestine had her son in law Mr.cheddeck buried next to her and also had harry hurwitz buried below her and Louis.I haven't connected what relation harry is to Beulah yet.I just know Beulah outlived all these men.I wish you were a relation to the nudelmans.My third cousin found me through find a grave,but that's on my grandmother's side of the family.

Hi!!! I wanted to know if you are at all related to the nudelman family?The obituary for your harry howard Hurwitz is one I need or would like to have as I photographed the grave that is below a relation of mine.I'm trying to piece together my great grandmother's family of nudelmans.In fact the second wife of Louis nudelman was Beulah herwitz or Hurwitz who was born in Palestine.Louis was the son of brina brimmer and morris nudelman.Brina also had another son Abraham and a daughter annie.My find a grave # is 48364646.I placed two photos one of harry howard upclose and one of harry howard surrounded above by his relations.Now thanks to you I know Beulah is harry howard's sister.You can now update the birth date for harry howard.Would you know how harry howard happen to pass in north Africa during wwII?Supposedly my uncle brian was named after brina nudelman's first name.I'd like to be able to piece all the nudelman relations together, so I know more about my great grandfather joseph Brownstein.Well, since you have 7 years experience with this,can you advise me on how to communicate with other contributors properly? I feel I'm always stepping on the wrong toes when it comes to duplications and what ever else people have slight issues with. Thanks karen
Hi Rich, thanks for the information. I didn't see the other memorial so I figured you deleted it. I have transferred her memorial to you.

No, I'm not related. They are related to some friends who I am helping with their family history. Thanks for the thought, though.

Rich - You have been busy, thanks! I added Howard as 150845889, so please add when you get a chance. I was gonna stop at Eileen, but as long as you found her husband without much effort, what the heck...

Oh ok if died August 17, 1944 he would of died of wounds received in Normandy. If died in the Netherlands, he would have been killed on September 17, the day they jumped into Holland for Operation Market Garden

My name is Brett Hickle. My great uncle served in Co. A 506. Are you related to Henry Elsner?
|Linda Slater||Michael Scianna KIA|
I would like to thank you so very much and Mary Arvidson for posting pictures of my Great Uncle Mike Scianna who was KIA & also his parents Joseph & Anna Scianna headstones from St. Joseph's Cemetery, River Grove, IL, Memorial #131090647. The obit from the Chicago Tribune was great to see. Can I ask a question, the obit was an abstract and was dated 4 1/2 yrs after his death, do you know is that when he finally was buried? My mother was too young to remember if it took the Military that long to send his body home from Germany...any help would be appreciated. Thanks again & keep up the great work.
