Bio and Links
Bio Photo I currently live in the Richmond, Virginia area. I have been researching since about 1991. I recently started adding photographs to my research.

I enjoy walking old cemeteries and documenting the grave stones for families requesting such information and also to preserve in history the head stones of our lost generations. There are so many grave markers that are unreadable and unknown to the future generations. Once lost, they are lost forever and unknown to future generations and families.

I also have taken the task of documenting as many veterans as possible. They served our country and need not be forgotten, but saved for future generations to remember.

I find no records for a Cogbill in the 2nd NC or in the Cogbill family for NC. No Cogbill soldiers appear in the Soldiers and Sailors database. There are several from Virginia. Several of my Cogbill relatives are buried in Hollywood. I have no records of a William R. I can not find any records of a William R Cogbill. What records do you have for this person?

Pvt. William Moran
There is a picture you added to the site of Pvt. William Moran. Upon calling the cemetery to see where this particular grave is, they could only tell me it is in the unknown soldiers section along with many others. Could you help me with where it is, say using the pyramid or Picket'st grave as a landmark? We have been trying to find it, and it did not take long to become overwhelmed with the numerous graves to look at. All the girl in the office could tell me was "it is in it's own little section". :)

Many thanks!

I noticed you have my cousin on your list-Judy Holt Butler-her mother was my Grandmother's sister and my mom and her were close-I also, talked with her alot! I have a small amount of memorials of my Family and would love if you would transfer to me to manage! Thank-you for doing all you do to manage and take pictures of relative's graves,so we may find our lost love ones!
