Bio and Links
Bio Photo I think this "Find-a-Grave" website is wonderful, and I hope more people will add data to it. Hopefully my input will help someone out there.

I so enjoy finding & visiting the old pioneer cemeteries, where the dates go back to the 1700-1800's.

I'll be more than happy to make corrections and/or add data, make relationship links, etc, but I am curtailing (not stopping) transferring memorials due to a growing misunderstanding of what Find-a-grave is all about.

Please DO NOT not leave me a message of "any kind" without leaving a way for me to get back to you. It makes no sense to do so - it is useless and it will be ignored.

Your "e-mail" must be present in your messages to me.

DO NOT ask for transfers without return contact information either.

I only transfer memorials according to Find-a-grave guidelines so check first before asking please.

TRANSFERS: Per Findagrave regulations:

Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. This DOES NOT include aunts, uncles and cousins.

Please do NOT add personal data in the "Leave Flowers & Note" section -- that is NOT what it is for...... send the data to me & I will be happy to add it in the "Bio Section" where it belongs. Thanks!

Another contributor has ask my help in managing some of the memorials he created, therefore if I can be of any help to you with of the memorials he has transferred me let me know. I will be glad to make updates/corrections or links to them.

God Bless!

Check out my memorial below for my beloved kitty "Punky" that crossed over the "Rainbow Bridge" on July 20, 2014. It was such a heartbreak..... I miss her so much.

Gordon grave
Well Ruth, you would not believe all the calls I ve made to try and find out who takes care of The Central State Hospital Cemetery. No one seems t know. So to make a long story short. I am going to buy a stone and Put it there myself. Since no body knows anything about it. I should not get in trouble. Well after all of this, I am going to ask you if you would transfer him to me. My account number is 47246318 and William Gordons number is 54028957 I really would appreciate it so much. Thank you for all your help. Carol Gordon Sellers

RE: Wlliam Gordon
Ruth Robin emailed me, thanks so much for giving me her email. She ask me if the old red plastic numbers were still on the graves or if there was new numbers. I told her no. The old ones were still there. She said she could call a couple of people and try and find out. She said the City Of Indianapolis is the one who made the New Sign. Hope she can get to the bottom of why the numbers are different than on the old sign. Thanks Carol, I will keep you informed Carol Gordon Sellers

Central State Hospital cemetary
Hi Ruth, so far I have not heard from her. Maybe tomorrow I will. I will be glad to let you know what she says. I was reading and looks like the New Sign was put up June 2014. Rep. Councilor Marilyn Pfisterer was involved with the Buchanan Group with getting this New Monument made. I have got a couple contact numbers for her. I hope that I can get ahold of her to ask if that maybe the numbers were put in wrong in the New sign? I don't want to put the stone on the wrong persons grave. thanks Carol Gordon Sellers

Hello, I got to go visit the Central State Hospital cemetary today. My old 2nd great Grandfather is buried there. You have put him on find a grave. Thank you. I am confused though. On the red sign that lists him, he is number 138 and on the new Bronze sign, he is listed 161. Is this a error? which one is he 138 or 161. Hope you can help. Carol Gordon Sellers
