I decided to start photographing and documenting cemeteries in Frederick County Maryland because some one else did it for cemeteries in Quebec Canada and it helped me find out more information about my family.

If there are any errors, please let me know by e-mail or leave a message.

Also, if you are a closer relation to someone I have set up a memorial for and would like to own the memorial, please let me know by e-mail and we can work it out.

Researching surnames: Krechman, Prince, Ball, Diehl, Metzger and many more.

Joshua S Hipsley
Kim, is there any way you can read the age of Joshua S Hipsley (Memorial# 39905963), which is on the bottom half of his gravestone. I can't make it out, even when I enlarge the picture. I'm just hoping you have another picture that you didn't post that may have it clearer. Thanks.

Henry Fields
Are you a relative of Henry Fields 1877-1938, Vine Street Hill Cemetery, Cincinnati (Hamilton, OH?) My great grandpa was James Nelson Fields. He had a son Henry Fields. I have been searching for a picture of him and his tombstone.
Thank you.

Franklin V. Brook #35341074
Dear Kim:
It has been brought to my attention that my find-a-grave record #67942551 duplicates your record above for Franklin Victor Brook. Franklin was my uncle, and his 2 living sons are my first cousins. In my record I have included several items of information about Franklin. I would like to keep my record on there as this is a family member, but would like to use your photo of his gravestone, giving you credit for it of course. You photo of the sign at the cemetery is already on my record.
Would you be amenable to putting the gravestone photo on my record, then deleting your record? Or is there some other way of handling this? Thank you for your kind attention to this matter.

Mary J Thomas Hooper
February 2, 1912.---
Dies at Age of 81 and Never Saw a Trolley Car Until a Month Ago.

Mrs. Mary Jane Hooper, who died at Frederick last week in her 82d year, was so clearly attached to her home that she had never been on the steam cars and had never seen a trolley car until those of the Frederick Railroad passed her home on East South street within the past year.
