|I've been involved in genealogy for many years.|
My husband and I have spent much of our lives the business of cemetery memorials which we always thought of as helping preserve family histories.
We hope we can help others find their ancestors and this seems a great place to start.
If we have entered a name and photo that is your family, please let me know if you wish to have a transfer of ownership per the transfer guidelines.
To have an obit added to a grave, please follow the guidelines listed in Frequently Asked Questions - I will NOT make changes to a listing based on reading an obituary. Also please do not include names of current survivors in the obituary.
Corrections, additions, transfers, etc. please use the edit tab. (all other corrections or additions will be ignored)

|mortul vivos docent||Thank you for the photos.|
You have been really busy. Thanks for the photos for Randall Anderson, Elsa Arnold, Mildred Balch and Rolland Beem (and any others I may have forgotten to mention). Your photos are excellent. :)

Hi, GardenNana. I think I figured it out:
Wm. & E. Ruby

Hi, GardenNana. Thank you so much for posting a picture of the grave marker for Thesey Ruby. My family and I really appreciate it. It's hard to make out the inscription under her name, and the second line of the inscription where it's at grass level. Do you happen to remember what it said? Thanks again for providing this service.
Now I see after looking at Edits that the last name was Thoms not Thomas so I deleted my memorial # 113507990
I didn't have a photo so there was no way I could know the spelling of his last name was wrong.
Thanks for the help

This is confusing. However my source for the info is from:
Washington County KSArchives - Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery in Linn, Kansas
Kansas. Canvassed in 1971 by Jan Abercrombie, Lucille Zabokrtsky and Donna Wyman
HIESTERMAN, Dietrich H 1874 - 1951"
Marie Sophie 1879 - 1949
Hilda Bill 1879 - 1944
This is from a cemetery walk-thru.

No wait...I spoke too soon. There already is a memorial #113812030 that has the same headstone you took a photo of. Hilda's birth and death years don't match your photo. 1879-1944 vs. 1890-1944.
Now I am confused.

I agree with your conclusion on her name and I've made the changes.

Please send me the message through the memorial or use my email email@example.com . I was unable to find the memorial you were talking about. Also, you sent me a message regarding Benjamin Werner and his wives. There should be both wives with him - could I get you to load the photo on Augusta's site as well. I will add a note to all that they are unmarked. Thank you for your help.. Valerie
