 | RE: Pecht Family Hi Susan,
I'd been meaning for some time to track you down, because I remembered running across your query about George and Mary, and I did want to let you know that I had the burial site. I knew from a more recent publication that the three younger children were there, and suspected that George and Mary were also. Then I was sent an older publication which included them. This cemetery is a mess, sadly, you need a machete to get to half of the stones. It's pretty easy to find though, which is a plus. I will transfer the family to you - all I ask is that you leave the info I included as to the publication so there is some proof showing of the burials.

 | RE: Doyle Family Oh! I remember that. I already saw your blog, months ago. Without knowing that it was yours, of course, but just trying to find some information about David Doyle's life on web, I found it. I love those pictures of you and him, meeting for the first time and chatting a little! And I also like your words. Thank you Susan, for this link and for sharing your experience and impressions. | RE: Doyle Family Really? Sounds great! As a lot of people I've loved David Doyle's character "Bosley" in Charlie's angels. And it is so strange and beautiful to know his family. I've found Mary Doyle's grave, on this site, by chance, by the link on wikipedia. And in this way I've had the opportunity of meet all his family, thank you to your work. Very interesting. I bet that he was a very charming and kind person also in the "real" life! Thank you very much again. Greetings L.Added by L on Jan 06, 2012 1:55 PM | | | L

 | RE: Paul Flaherty #41042421 Not close enough kin for Find A Grave guidelines, but yes, my husband is related to many, many of the St. Edward, Nebraska Flahertys and I would gladly add Paul Flaherty #41042421 to my collection.
Thank you for asking.

 | Sheffer Pioneer Cemetery I hope I haven't added a mess to the Sheffer site! I found census records for a "Bird" family living in Greenwood and added them as possible family name, though BURD is on the grave list. (could the spelling be BIRD?)
I left some messages for you, as I found a grave with "V.B." on it and do not know who that is.
I did not find a large Kehler gravestone. I think the Kehler requesting the photo was disappointed. I did find the only "K." names on the three stones that were together, so I think they were correct.
Is there a mapping of the plots in a book somewhere? A library? Then I could i.d. unknown names on the stones. Or was there a local newspaper for Greenwood in the 1860's? Are all the names listed in the pioneer book about the Sheffer cemetery??? Thanks.
I could do crayon rubbings to see the names on paper on some of those gravestones. Some of the dates may appear that way. | | | | [View all messages...] |
