DO NOT LEAVE TRANSFER OR LINKING REQUESTS ON THE MESSAGE PAGE. USE SUGGEST A CORRECTION.
To our newer members:
Linking was not available when f-a-g started. That is why you see most older files are not linked.
Allowed photo size was much smaller, it has gradually increased through the years.
from the FAQS:
"Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Explain your relationship in the request" (Transfers are recent also.)
Please remember the f-a-g rule from the FAQs.
You should NEVER deliberately create a duplicate memorial.
Location of body unknown should be used for recent deaths where the disposition is not currently known. Final disposition should be determined and updated within 30 days. Exceptions to this rule are available in the FAQs. Memorial contributions to Find A Grave should fulfill that mission - registration of the final disposition. If the memorial contribution corresponds with only the main mission, then the memorial fulfills its purpose as part of Find A Grave's mission.
FROM THE FAQ's -
Please limit the number of "Suggest a correction" requests you send to an individual contributor to no more than 20 per week. Most of our contributors are unable to make updates on the same day a request is sent in. Please allow thirty days from your original request before contacting Find A Grave about the lack of activity.
If you add a photo to a memorial, feel free to let me know.

I am sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you. I am in a very remote area which I call nowhere Texas, and the radio tower transmitter where we get our internet had been going in and out, more at night than in the day. While it works I have been searching for and saving Civil War documents on two of my 2nd great grandfathers. As of yesterday, some of my work is on the US GenWeb Project. :-)
Prior to that I was overwhelmed learning about a little know tragedy, the 1937 Now London School Explosion, which is the 3rd worse Texas disaster, and the worse school disaster in the United States. A 17 year old distant family member was killed in this explosion. This explosion is the reason odor was added to natural gas, first in Texas, then the United States, and then the world.
I want to thank you for all the hard work and research you have done for me. I know what it is like to walk and entire cemetery and not find a grave. I am so sorry that this happened to you while trying to help me, but I REALLY appreciate what you have done. It means a lot to me.
I was not familiar with the The New Haven Jewish Cemetery Database, and am very grateful to you for providing the link to Esther Brown. I am saving the Database link to my files. I am not sure if this Esther Brown in my Esther Brown, so I am going to have to do some serious research. In the meantime, I am going to remove Esther's memorial because of the information you shared with me.
Thank you again for all your help. And again, I apologize for not getting back to you sooner.

Thanks for keeping it in mind. (The thought is as important as the deed -- an old Serbian proverb.) Next time.

Thanks for all your efforts to photograph the Lindhardt markers. I had no idea so many were unmarked.
I appreciate you taking the time and putting such effort into getting this done. Thank you!
