Hi, we are Kevin and Mandy. Kevin is the genealogist in the family, but Mandy is the inscriptionist, typist, and the self-proclaimed cemetery guru. Kevin also pronounces his love of cemetery grave hunting. Mandy loves going to the cemeteries to find family members, or for a quiet walk. |
Seeing that we didn't want all of our efforts to go in vain, we have decided the best place to share our hard work is here on Find-A-Grave. Most of our listings are family of ours, however, some are of people that may be family or are close to family members in the cemeteries we have visited.
If there are corrections that need to be made, feel free to e-mail us, we do not want our information to be incorrect or incomplete.
We hope our information is helpful.
Under the Findagrave FAQ section it states: Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. This is called there "Family First Policy"
The main Surnames that Kevin is researching are: Lane, Odle/Odell, Goodpaster/Goodpasture, Rader, Grubb, Harper, Larrabee, Lynch, Bragg, Moon, Shoaf, Vanhorn/Van Horn, Helm, Taylor, O'Connor, Dillinger, Simpson, Henderson, Harlan/Harland, Boone and several of the families that tie into these lines.
Currently in the process of walking and marking off several cemeteries in the Saint Louis area. Which means photographing every stone.
Cemeteries that are photographed are: Old St. Marcus Cemetery, New St. Marcus Cemetery, Old St. John's Church Cemetery (Mehlville, MO), and New St. John's Church Cemetery (Mehlville, MO), New (Old) Picker's Cemetery (2nd one now known as a part of Gatewood Gardens), Sappington Cemetery, and Saint Paul's Churchyard. We are currently photographing Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery (Oakville, MO).

My error...sorry little fuzzy when on pain meds.

You sent a message on Jan 22 wondering in which cemetery he was buried because there was a memorial for him in Smith Cemetery and one for hm in the New Richmond Cemetery. I contacted the person who had entered him in New Richmond and requested their source since the only records I found suggested he was in Smith Cemetery. The other person could not find any information on him - so they deleted their memorial. The Crawfordsville Library lists him in Smith Cemetery. That is all I know. I have requested a photo of his stone but that has not happened yet.I hope this answers your question.

|JeffG||Earl R Williams|
Zola P King Williams her headstone has "JJ 167".
Her husband is supposed to Earl Williams. I don't know the rules or procedures within the cemetery, but shouldn't her stone reference his?
Tahnk you for your consideration.
