RE: Frederick Mining
Hi Sandra, no, I don't know Edith. I know Frederick's daughter, my GG Grandmother, Elizabeth Minning Meyers Koenig, is buried in Greenwood with my Meyers and Ford family. I believe my Great Grandfather, Johnny Meyers, purchased the family plot at that time to bury his mother. His father August is not buried there. I started the family tree over a year ago and I really enjoy it. Do you have any info on the parents of Frederick Minning Sr?

RE: Frederick Mining
Wow, how awesome. Frederick and his first wife, Elizabeth Hassenbrough Minning, had a daughter named Elizabeth. She was married to August Meyers and they were the parents of my great grandfather, John Joseph Meyers. Elizabeth Meyers later remarried a Mr. Koenig. Are you in New Orleans?

J W Echols
Hi Sandra,

I put a photo of J W's headstone on Find A Grave. It is old, broken but in looking closely I believe it states 1907. I placed that on and hope someone will come back with an exact date. If he lived until 1907 he was 98 when he passed away. Wow, that's old for back then.

I check and hoped to find a death date but didn't. Did find his marriage and that he was a Private in Tennessee's Confederate States. Thank you for asking. Judi

Electra Cemeteries
I am with you in the confusion of the Electra's Cemeteries. I found a site online that says there are actually four Electra Cemeteries and they are all next and across from each other. One is the Old Electra Cemetery, Memorial Cemetery, and one across the street is the New Electra Cemeteries. There is a very old cemetery behind the Old and Memorial Electra Cemetery called the Dick Sparks Cemetery.

RE: Marley Family
Yes, I am a descendant of Samuel Marley's first daughter, Maria Eglantine Marley. Are you related? Thank you, by the way, for taking the pictures!
