RE: 49th Ohio Infantry
Thank you Elaine!

How kind and considerate of you for taking the time to let us know about James Ferris' final resting place! We will add him to our virtual ~ perfect timing with Memorial Day weekend! Thank you so much!

Charles Baender at Forest Home Cemetery
Hi! I need the burial Section and Lot Numbers in order to take a photograph for you. This cemetery's staff does not help photo volunteers, and the burial location is not available anywhere else.

Phone: 708-366-1900
E-mail: deborah.bluck@foresthomecemetery.net

Last year I fulfilled over 450 photo requests at this cemetery after the burial location was provided.

Thank you!

Ace

P.S. I tried to look up his burial location at the local library, but I could not find his name in the list of burials for this cemetery.

Honoring Their Lives
Hannah Young update
Hi Elaine, what a delightful surprise to read all the additional information that you knew of my Hannah Bennett Young, (#107891809)! Absolutely I can add the information you sent to her memorial, it is greatly appreciated. Are you by chance a descendant of her and her family? Her son-in-law, Willard Jones was my GG-Uncle. Willard continues to be one the "brick walls" in my family research. Warmly, Helen Murphy, Nashville, TN

I'm sorry Elaine, I don't know anything about Wilson. If you would like maintenance of it, let me know.

Emil Stenger at Forest Home Cemetery
Hi! I see you have a photo request for Emil Stenger, but you will not find his grave there. It was moved to Montrose Cemetery in Chicago on or about March 15, 1909.

Unfortunately, the account of the person who created the Emil Stenger memorial is disabled, so getting this memorial moved to the correct cemetery may be difficult.

I just thought you might like to know.

Hello Elaine,

Linda Linn contacted me about combining the two sites - Rock Grove and Park Cemeteries. I'll be happy to turn the whole thing over to you. I didn't know what to do when I found them in Park. Will wait to hear from you.

RE: Elvira Bonabarger (150796831)
I actually spoke with the people who have the original records. I know they have records of unmarked graves, as they have assisted me in the past with such an inquiry. The only other cemetery to consider might be Cosper, once known as Union Chapel. I was there. No stone nor record of Elvira.
