As a lifetime history buff, and having lived near some old cemeteries, it is only "natural" that the two are now combined.
I've catalogued all the Confederate fallen in the Spotsylvania Confederate Cemetery in Spotsylvania Courthouse, Va. I will soon publish a roster/book with these findings and short bios/service records of these men. A copy will be presented to the Spotsylvania Courthouse Museum.
Also, I'm in the process of doing the same for the Confederate fallen and veterans in the Fredericksburg Confederate and City cemeteries.
As Historian of the above cemeteries, please feel free to inquire of any Confederate burials.
Also, I give tours of each.
The Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania County Battlefields National Park Service refers Confederate burial inquiries to me.

Hi Dan,
I have the U.S. Census records for 1850 & 1860 showing the parents and names of their children and living in Jasper Co., MS . I also have military papers for the sons, (when Samuel died his father claimed his effects).

RE: Robb family cemetery
i did add one more picture to the Bernard-Robb cemetery profile. the full picture of Philip Robb marker is on the left side of the pic so you can see what the whole thing looks like.

RE: Philip Robb pic
I was only given access for a very brief period of time so I quickly took as many pictures as I could. Sorry I could not get them all in better detail. I can tell you the top of his marker is a simple cross over the base. This format was repeated for a large majority of the graves in this cemetery.

RE: Bennett, Stewart marker pics
Happy to help--I saw that Charles H. Stewart shares a monument with his parents, Chas. G. and Elza S. Stewart, and I sent you a link request. Perhaps admin can transfer the parents to your care.

I would have to re-research how I determined he was buried at Fredericksburg, VA Confederate Cemetery. At the time I created his memorial, I was fairly certain he could be buried there.

Thanks so much for the transfer. I appreciate it. Last July we made a trip to Fredericksburg just to find his grave. Thanks for all you do. Joyce aka Birdgirl

RE: Harry H Chinn
PS: Searching him on Find A Grave reveals he has a memorial in both cemeteries, so it'll be great to get that resolved if you're able to get there.

RE: Harry H Chinn
Hi Dan,

Thanks for your prompt reply about Harry H Chinn. My SAC note was based on the report I found here:

Although it's true I have not yet visited either of those two cemeteries (nor the nearby White Oak Museum, high on my list), I was able to verify that the Chinn Family Cemetery is indeed a tiny cemetery directly across the road from the much larger White Oak Primitive Baptist Cemetery. So it seemed plausible that someone taking a lot of photos in the one might have taken photos in the other, and later perhaps might overlook that the little cemetery does not belong to the big cemetery. And Anne Braun's statements on a number of cemeteries do look conscientious.

I've been finding a number of errors while working through several Stafford area cemeteries, but if my purported error correction turns out to be in error, I'll be very sorry.

Thanks for all you do on Findagrave -- and I'm well aware it's a lot!
