Sorry. That should say "died after childbirth".
I think I found her obit. It says she died in South Dakota.
Kliever, Katharina (1859-1891)
Christlicher Bundesbote obituary: 14 May 1891 p. 8
Kliever.
My attempt at translation: On the 26th of April in Childstown, South Dakota, Katharina Kliever, wife of Gerhard Kliever, died at the age of 32 years and 4 months.
The doctor performed surgery to try to save her life, but she died. She leaves a deeply grieved husband and 4 small children. The funeral oration was from Jeremiah 29, verse 11, held by Christian Mueller.
I noticed that you are the person maintaining the memorials for George Kliewer (#73224792), Justina Warkentin Kliewer (#73224793), and Katharina Kliewer Redelsperger (#68961016). Justina is my 2nd great grand aunt. I just wanted to let you know that according to my research, she is not the mother of Gerhard Jr, Cornelius, Katharina, or Anna. I have the marriage date for Justina and George Sr. as 23 Jun 1891. The 1900 census notes that they have been married 8 years, but it looks like it was written over with what may be a 9. Also on that census, it notes that Justina is the mother of 5 children. Those would be Justina, Peter, Helena, John, and Susanna (all listed on the 1900 census). A daughter Martha was born in 1904. I know you don't manage the memorials for the other children, but would you unlink Justina as Katharina's mother? I am going to ask the managers of Gerhard and Anna's memorials to do the same. Unfortunately I don't have any additional information on George Sr. so I don't know who his first wife might have been, but if I come across the information I would be happy to send it to you. Thank you!

Hi There, I wonder if you would add the family link on Lillian Knott's grave memorial that you manage? Her mother was Olina Abelson, Findagrave number 136967326. Thank you very much.

I went to Ogden City Cemetery today to look for a headstone for Russell Smith. I checked in the office to verify the Plot information, which was correct. Unfortunately, there is not a marker or headstone for Russell Smith at the Plot location. :o(

Thank you for your work. I can't imagine all the work it takes to get these memorials up for all of us that can't do it. This memorial is my great grandmother. Buena Vista Birdsong. The James W Birdsong that you have listed is not her father. Her father was James Warren Birdsong born in Missouri. I think this might be James Washington Birdsong. Also, He was never married to a Virginia. By great grandmothers mother was Eliza Lefors. I live near the cemetary where she is buried along with her daughter Leeta Mullins Kingsley and son-in-law. Buena had 4 brothers and 3 sisters. She was married to Milburn G Mullins and he died and she married Edmund Hackett. She had 4 children Leeta and William Lucky Mullins, JC Mullins and GJ hackett. GJ and Lucky are still living. Thank you Stephany

Thank you for the work you do. As a rather house bound researcher, I truly appreciate all the work done by Find A Grave volunteers.
One of the folks you posted was
Carrie M. Waters Collins
Her son, Edward Powell Drummond, died in August of this year, and I think he, too, is interred here. If you happen to be in the area, would greatly appreciate anything you can find and post for him.
Carrie actually died back East, and Eddie brought her out here for burial. Her history is fascinating, and his even more so.
Thank you in advance for all that you do
