I am a retired programmer, interested in Genealogy, Computers and Traveling. I live in the Detroit Area and will be more than happy to visit any cemetery and take a picture of a grave of interest. Any of the pictures or other information that I have posted to findagrave.com can be used by anyone for whatever volunteer purpose they would like. You may not use the pictures if they will be used for a make for profit purpose. Other than family members any memorials will be transferred to you if requested. I would prefer transferring the memorial to you than to add or make changes to the memorial. Also please give me a little time to transfer the memorials. Thanks
RE: Samuel Thodore Sheppard Thanks. Found Samuel. I was told he is in Evergreen Cemetery, but when I added him in findagrave, it only gave me the option for Evergreen Cemetery (Shabbona). Is that right?
Huldah Bissell Butler/Henry Hobart Butler Dear Mr. Vander-Schrier, Thank you so much for the transfer of my cousin Huldah Bissell Butler. if there are any descendants of Huldah and Henry Butler out there, please contact me. I am Bissell relative and I have alot of information. :)
Thanks for your generous offer, but I'm not a descendant of Alva Butler or related to him in any way. I'm just deep in the throes of researching the early families of Rutland Co., VT, and was following the Rudd trail. (I'd love to know if Alva's father is buried near/with him: Ormand Butler was b. 1775 in Cumberland, RI; m. Abigail Rudd in Middletown, VT, in 1796 and is thought to have died in Troy, MI. But that might be pure conjecture as I've found nothing to support the idea.)
RE: Galinis - Calinis Jack - I received a message from you that I think must have been meant for someone else regarding Galinis-Calinis... I don't recall this being one of mine. Or is my memory going bad? Please advise.
I'm trying to find out if my great uncle is buried at Evergreen Cemetery in Brown City. His name is Samuel Thodore Sheppard and he died in 22 Oct 1929. His death certificate says place of burial is Brown City. WHen I did a google search, Evergreen was the first cemetery to pop up. Do you know who I could contact to see if he is buried there?
Lincoln Smith Thank you for creating and updating Lincoln Smith's memorial. He is part of my husband's extended family and we both appreciate your efforts to memorialize so many of the Smith family and their descendants.
Patricia Hunt An error has occurred somehow. Patricia Hunt (1944-1945) Find A Grave memorial #6433543 is linked to President John Adams (1735-1826) Find A Grave memorial #6 as his daughter. Please correct this if you can. Thanks for all you do on Find A Grave.
