I have been interested in genealogy for many years, and love helping people to begin and be successful in this hobby. Cemetry information goes hand in hand with that hobby! |
The Alma Cemetery in Alma, Crawford County, Arkansas is very special to me......I have family buried there that came to Crawford County in 1842. My father, Louis Brown, took over the volunteer job of keeping the records of Alma Cemetery in the early 1980's. He spent many hours at the cemetery recording all the information he could from the tombstones and word of mouth from anyone that would share information with him. After his death in 1998 I took over the job.

You are so very welcome.
Hi, Narcissus is my 4th great grand Aunt and I would like to know more about her. I know it's a very distant relation, but I enjoy learning about obscure lines in my family tree. Also on the marriage record, and some other documents on Ancestry.com her name is shown as Narcissa. Do you know if she went by both?

Her info says services at All Saints Mausoleum. Was she buried in Metairie Cemetery or All Saints or Lake Lawn? These are three different locations. If you could call and ask where and what section that would be great. Thanks so much.
Happy to add the obit to my uncle Luke's memorial, thank you for sending it. God bless.

Added obit for you. Thanks.
|Hal ||Colemans from Ark, and S.C.|
My name is Hal Eaddy. My great Grandfather was William B. Coleman of the Pamplico S.C. area. He was little brother to George W. Coleman,who moved to Arkansas. For many years we searched to find where he had ended up. We lost track of him in 1880 in Charleston County, S.C. until recently on F.A.G. I have been researching his family and believe that your desceased close friend "Jay" was his great Grandson. I would love to somehow make email or otherwise contact with some of his children, which would be my distant cousins. G.W. & W.B. Coleman's parent were Edward Coleman & Mary Jane McWhite ,both from Marion ,S.C. They are not on F.A.G. cause their graves were never found. She married James R. Lewis after Edward Coleman died and are listed in the 1860 Marion County census.G.W. Coleman is also in that census with wife D.(Dillia). This search was actually started back in the 1990's by my Mother,when she was living. Thank you for your time and the Edits you have done for me.

I received your email concerning this memorial. I added the first part of your message. However, I can not add survivor's names. It is now against Find A Grave policy. So I left that part as is in the bio.
