I have been interested in genealogy for many years, and love helping people to begin and be successful in this hobby. Cemetry information goes hand in hand with that hobby!
The Alma Cemetery in Alma, Crawford County, Arkansas is very special to me......I have family buried there that came to Crawford County in 1842. My father, Louis Brown, took over the volunteer job of keeping the records of Alma Cemetery in the early 1980's. He spent many hours at the cemetery recording all the information he could from the tombstones and word of mouth from anyone that would share information with him. After his death in 1998 I took over the job.

Thank you very much. As I do more research on Find a Grave, I am beginning to find several duplications and in some cases in different cemeteries. Glad to get any straightened out.

I get her death date from the stone. If you will read the bio I state this. If I put anything other than whats on the stone I get a message about I have made a mistake. Sorry for the confusion.

Thank you for the transfer. Nancys husband, Enoch Wood, is buried in the Brown-Rye Cemetery in Pope Co., AR. I try to cut and paste memorial numbers as I tend to transpose numbers.
