My ancestors settled in northeastern Indiana in the 1830s and I am still here. I especially like old obituaries and newspaper clippings, and of course, cemeteries. |
I generally follow the transfer guidelines as outlined by Findagrave. I try to get updates done quickly.
Exceptions: I often take photos when we go on vacation, so if I have a memorial that is not in NE Indiana, I am normally more than happy to transfer it as I have no plans to do research in those areas.
Thanks to all who have sent additional information for the memorials. Time does not allow me to thank each of your personally, but please know that the additional information is greatly appreciated.

|Joyce M. Jeffries||Thank you|
Thank You for all your contributions to Find A Grave.
I am horrified because I had left an edit for FindAGrave Memorial#66174939 BUT I had left the Mother's Memorial# for both parents. I just now added a new edit to correct it. I am very sorry if I caused you extra work, I try to be conscientious, but I'm sure not perfect. :)
Thanks again for your contributions.
Best wishes for good health, safety, love, peace, prosperity and happiness always!

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for posting the PALFREYMAN families out of Steuben Co, Indiana.
I have been hunting for them for years and years and years.
You have made my day!!!!!!!!!
They are the children and descendants of my gggg grandmother Elizabeth Moorfoot Palfreyman and her first husband Hugh Palfreyman.
Now, I need to go to see if you found Elizabeth Moorfoot Palfreyman SLATER, wife to second husband Thomas Slater, my gggg grandfather.

One more comment on this. I found some additional Borden prominent family members with unmarked graves. They were Quakers, I wonder if this is a religious expression. Diane

That is strange, even Wikipedia has him buried there. There's even a plot number listed for him and his wife. Regards, Diane

|Janice Stoy||Hi Sheryl|
I recently became a member of Find A Grave and I have much to learn. My number is #132609935. I have found that you added my grandfather Warren Anicholas Arnold in the Flint (Indiana) cemetery. You have included my mother and a couple of her brothers and sisters but there were seven of those siblings and all are buried at Flint side by side with their spouses. I'm afraid I stepped on your toes by not fully understanding the Find A Grave process and I added the missing siblings myself. I apologize and will try to learn by my mistakes. I hope I haven't messed up the whole system! Janice Stoy

Wow, thanks for adding the obit. I have not come across that yet and was really interested in finding out he contracted the small pox from a daughter, it must have been his daughter Catherine as she died 14Nov1881. I appreciate the info and glad you notified me even though you aren't related. Beckie
