My ancestors settled in northeastern Indiana in the 1830s and I am still here. I especially like old obituaries and newspaper clippings, and of course, cemeteries. |
I generally follow the transfer guidelines as outlined by Findagrave. I try to get updates done quickly.
Exceptions: I often take photos when we go on vacation, so if I have a memorial that is not in NE Indiana, I am normally more than happy to transfer it as I have no plans to do research in those areas.
Thanks to all who have sent additional information for the memorials. Time does not allow me to thank each of your personally, but please know that the additional information is greatly appreciated.

Thank you for updating Henry's memorial in Waterloo cemetery. Do you know if by chance his wife is buried nearby? Her name was Helena Shaffer Zerkle. (b. 1818 d. perhaps 1899, no proof on dod though) I did a little searching for her, but can't find her death cert, and some people claim she died in MO - even if she died there, it still would make more sense if she was buried with her husband. Anyway, they're a collateral line I was digging in to find info on someone else and wondered if she was there too. Thanks for your help!

Oops! I forgot one more name: Caroline Hollis, my great-aunt and daughter of Andrew & Catherine Hipp. I have a picture and biographical data I could post but can't right now. Any chance you'd be willing to transfer this one to me, too? (I've only just begun creating Find-A-Grave sites.) Thanks much. Carole
