Bio and Links
Bio Photo ***Character is much easier kept than recovered.

***OLD STYLE EDITS - NEW STYLE EDITS = The limit on old style edits (emails) is 21 per week per member. There is not a specific limit on new style (edit tab) edits sent at this time. However, we do suggest that members keep it to under 40 edits per week/per member as a courtesy to the member who is accepting/researching these edits. If there is a member who is adding too many edits for you to handle (more than 40) and this is consistently happening every week, please contact us. We will contact that member for you and try to resolve the matter. Per Katrina - January 29, 2015 - Help Forum.

***Excessive new style edits - PROCESSED AUTOMATICALLY.

***Genealogy conflicts = I will not be involved - Contact F/G.

***OBITUARIES - Please review F/G current obituary rule. Provide name of newspaper & date published. Make sure to include (verified) permission confirmation of newspaper & author of obituary.

***"ONLY" through "New Edit" - Relationship links - maiden name - nickname - place of birth/death - gravestone inscriptions & grave locations. Designate what numbers refer to = Section - Plot - Lot - Block - Grave Number.

***Burial Unknowns - Not linked.

***S.A.C. edits - Specifically state request, otherwise ignored. Provide verified documentation for additional information & changes.

***I will decline the following:
1 - Disrespectful, derogatory information/stories.
2 - Speculative information/Dates.
3 - Information/Changes without verified source.
4 - Abbreviation's - Abbreviated thoughts - Illegible/Unintelligible information.
5 - Information from tokens - gravestones - pictures. (Provide information within s.a.c.)
6 - Duplicate information.
7 - Buried next to/Share gravestone with.
8 - Copyright material.
9 - Unknown burial links. CURRENT POLICY = It is up to managers whether or not they want to link to burial unknowns, not the preference of requester's. Burial unknowns are merged into the correct burial location when the cemetery is known. If the memorials are linked, those links would also merge over to the correct memorial.
10 - Please don't send = Genealogy/Family tree/Children list - copy & paste census - wills - military - graduated from - owning land, information not pertinent to memorials & other data is not a bio.

***If I accidently added a duplicate, please let me know and I will remove it, asap.

Names would not be recorded into Find a Grave database, to be found, if not for the time & efforts of all volunteers. It is the best way to give back to our ancestors, and others who are looking for family...Everyone deserves to be remembered, no matter how long ago they died. It is not about numbers, although it is about people who came before. Their names should not be forgotten. It is about caring...Life is a gift, with deep roots...Someday, everyone will be an ancestor.

The Clock of Life -
The clock of life is wound but once.
And no man has the power, to tell just when the hands will stop, on what day - or what hour.

Now is the only time you have, so live it with a will. Don't wait until tomorrow, the hands may then be still.

Both justice and decency require that we should bestow on our forefathers an honorable remembrance. Thucydides

Genealogy, begins as an interest, becomes a hobby, continues as an avocation and in the last stages, is an incurable disease.

Those who feel no pride in ancestor's is unworthy to be remembered by descendants. Author - Unknown.
