I was born in Gadsden, Alabama, in 1981. I currently live in Bettendorf, Iowa, with my wife, two kids, three rodents, five guppies, and one cory catfish. I'm an amateur actor, and sometimes professional theatre technician. I'm an organizer and writer/director for a semi-regular living history event in local historic cemetery Oakdale Memorial Gardens. I am also in the process of nominating Oakdale to the National Register of Historic Places.|
I'm also a genealogy buff, researching the following families:
Crow/Crowe, Couch, Oliver, West, Fenn/Fann, Humphries, Fleming, Scott, Petree/Petri, Mayer, Zimmerman, Smith, Sevier/Xavier Goode/Good/Goad, Ray, Henry, and McKeme (?) in the Southeast U.S. (AL, TN, NC, GA, VA, SC, AR) New England (PA, MA), England, France, Germany, Scotland, Ireland, and Spain.
Hatton, Doyle, Green, Fritsch, and Thomas in the Midwest (MO, IL, KY), Virginia, Ireland, and Germany.
I am also willing to do limited genealogical research in Scott County, Iowa. E-mail me for info.

Thank-you very much Dustin for the grave marker picture for Byron Stacy in Oakdale Memorial Gardens in Davenport, IA. I appreciate it.

Thank you Dustin!!
Nancy A. McCoy Wiley:
I am so very pleased to see the photograph of her marker! I know you had to work to uncover it! I do appreciate you doing that for me!
Thank you for confirming it was a duplicate. I wasn't absolutely certain there weren't two "Nancy Wiley" burials. I deleted it.
Thank you very much for attempting to fulfill my photo request at the Oakdale Memorial Gardens; and then reporting to me you found no marker.
I appreciate the time and effort you took to do that for me. I put a note on Oscar's memorial page re: "no marker found".

Thanks a whole lot.
I left a msg asking if they could ascertain the correct spelling and notify Oakie.
Good suggestion to link them. Sometimes I forget to ask.
How did you ever find the Center marker??? Did you clear the weeds?

Thank you for trying to photograph the gravestone of my cousin Daisy. How strange that there is one for her husband and son, but not for her! I did note on her memorial page that no marker could be found in 2015 so no one else will be sent on a wild goose chase! Thanks again for your efforts.

Dustin, Thank You. I appreciate your time spent on this family's history, greatly.
Samuel G McColloch is my 2nd great-grandfather.
I was able to link Samuel L and Emma "Beason" McColloch; they are son and daughter in-law of Sam G and Mary Ellen. They had a son named Samuel O. McColloch.
Leonard Rudolph is the second husband of Sam G and Mary Ellens' granddaughter. But I have not yet found or created a link for her to link to...
We've looked at my 2nd great grandparents' portraits in my father's home for over 50 years and were not certain how they were related until recently. I get to visit my Dad next week, he will be Thrilled with what you have found.
Thank you for finding these missing pieces, and for bringing more peace to this mystery for us.

I used the edit function for my suggestions. I got the info from the 1920 (niece) & 1925 (parents) Federal Iowa Census records on Ancestry
