Most of the memorials I have added are either my ancestors or my husband's ancestors. In the course of photographing their headstones, if there is an old worn headstone nearby, I will take a photo before it becomes unreadable. If there is no memorial page for that person I create one. |
Some of my main lines: Farley, Collard, Runyen, Rood, Thomas, Green, Schafer, Baker, Colman, Smith, Curtis, Shriver, Shroy, Walker, Meeker.
Some of my husband's main lines: Gillett, Kersey, Aymor, Shangle, Strehl, Vogelsberg.

I was just wondering how much info you have on the Vogelsberg's. I am his Great Great Grandson.

In the 1980's I went to Easton. The Richardson Memorial consists of two stones - one for James & Sally -quite large and a huge memorial behind it that looks like a Tree. It took me until today to find the awful picture that I took back then which is illegible. But, it does show the monuments in proximity to the church. It is my hope, since no one has filled my request for photos, that you may be able to take the photos, and am in hopes that they will be legible enough to read the inscriptions. I am about to scan the illegible photo, and then link it to Sallie, wife of James Richardson.

Hi Content Rood, mother of Lydia is my direct line. Trying to find out what became of lydia. In 1860 census she was living with her sister/family. Henry farnham is remarried and my grgr grandmother is 6 on 1860 census, living with henry. Her daughter's death certificate says mother was a Hill from hiattsville so she might have remarried...

Rose Peabody Crees (my great grandmother) was Agnes McHenry Rofe Peabody Rood's second daughter. The story that Rose told about Agnes was that she died and her father gave her away and she ended up in an orphanage. I'm confused because according to the census Rose's father died and Agnes was still alive. I have pieced together that Agnes probably died in Corydon, Iowa in about the 1920's and her youngest daughter, Fannie Barnard, cared for her. My ggrandmother had nothing to do with her. I can't find a grave for Agnes in the Corydon Cemetery. I was taking a shot on the Sly's name
since I found out Rose's older half sister married a Sly. Thanks and I will let you know if I find out where Agnes in buried.
|sarah sperbeck||Just wondering|
You added a memorial for Bruce Sperbeck. Did you know him? Thanks!
|Ron Spurr||Fuller Memorials|
Is your husband related to Suzanne (Fuller) Thompson?
I am posting some memorials in Watford Cemetery for Kersey/Lord and Kersey/Milward. Would you like them transferred to you?

I am searching for information on my great great grandmother Agnes Rood. I see where she isn't buried with Alonzo. Did Alonzo and Agnes have any children together? Thank you very much
