Family researcher addict.|
Love RVing and yorkies.
Thank you to all the fine FAG volunteers who have seen fit to transfer family memorials to me for my care. I do not delete memorials that are transferred to me, I attempt to enhance them so as to honor the ancestor.
Photos in many cases are those in my possession, please contact me before clicking and claiming, I mean, we might be related! Of course, many of the lovely headstone photos are the work of many volunteers here and you need to ask them to use their photos.
I have taken a number of photos in Baldwin County Alabama cemeteries which I have posted here. I grant permission to any family researcher, or any genealogical or historical society/group in Baldwin County Alabama the use any of the BALDWIN COUNTY ALABAMA photos . This waiving of copyright and use is only for BALDWIN COUNTY ALABAMA photos.
You can find a email addy on my blog Reflections From the Fence. Or message me here, I will get notifications, hope to hear from you soon.
Everyone, and I do MEAN EVERYONE, deserves a memorial. Recently I had to delete a memorial on the insistence of a family member. I cried, really, I cried.
I hope I never, ever, have to delete another memorial.

|sheuringd||RE: Mary Minchew request at Mt. Plesant|
Glad to help, Carol. I think I sent a message when I discovered it and didn't check back. Your new request jogged my memory and I noticed it hadn't been done.
|sheuringd||Mary Minchew request at Mt. Plesant|
I tried to straighten this out sometime back, and evidently no changes were made. Ms. Minchew is buried in Oakland Cemetery in Waycross, not Mt. Pleasant. I have a better photo on that page. Apparently the smaller photo was transcribed to the wrong cemetery by the original photographer. See Find A Grave Memorial# 142974485. My father is buried in Mt. Plesant so I know she isn't there.
If you have any questions or I can be of more help, let me know.
Thanks for your quick answer. I have contacted geniescrapper to see what she can bring to the resolution of this issue.
BTW, I agree completely; I also never post a photo I have not taken myself.
Thanks for the offer of a transfer; Enoch is a 3d great uncle and I don't normally push to manage people off my direct lines back.

|Bill Day||Duplicate for 34944001|
There is an apparent duplicate for Enoch Tindall, whom you created as 34944001. There is another Enoch Tindall with the same birth and death dates but in a different cemetery in Lenawee County, created as 138927543. Both have the exact same gravestone pic with a tree behind it, which I am pretty sure is your pic (and which would be an AMAZING coincidence if correct). The other might actually be a cenotaph, but many known relatives of Enoch are buried there. Could you please contact Geniescrapper and resolve this apparent duplicate, and I would greatly appreciate knowing how this turns out.

I will keep this task on my to do list and hopefully can find out for sure if he is truly Frank Jay Bliss, or Frank Jay Bliss, Sr.
I looked up his death cert. online, too and am wondering if what I saw was possibly an error. I have seen a few errors on certificates, but a lot more in newspaper publications.I'm sure you have seen your fair share of those. I know I have!
Blessings to you as well,
|Joni (Hedrick) Dietz||RE: Frank Jay Bliss|
Do you have his obituary? I was looking thru obituaries in 1962, I remember it listed names of wife, son, Frank Jay Bliss of the home, daughter and brother. If all of your info says no, then I would go with "No". Was sure there was Sr. and Jr in another item I found for them, however did not make a copy, just did the edit.
If I run across again in future visit, will try and recheck for you. :)
That last one got away from me. Can I use your photo of Union Cemetery in Kansas City, MO? I would give you credit for it, "Photo courtesy of Find A Grave volunteer "Carol"...
If you want your last name, you will have to give it to me.
