I volunteer at Oakland Cemetery in Atlanta, and am working on photo-documenting the whole cemetery. In addition, I am helping to research and correct the records where possible. It is a huge and time-consuming job, and memorials that I manage get attention first because it's easier. At this point, I prefer not to transfer memorials for this cemetery (other than mandatory transfers, of course) because my research is ongoing. In the meantime, please feel free to send me as much additional info (documented) as you wish via the edit button on the memorial.

Please note: As I am editing Oakland records, I am finding many errors in the Oakland records posted on Ancestry. If you find someone in that database that does not seem to be already posted here, please be very careful that you can verify the information. Chances are good that the person is already on Findagrave with a corrected name or spelling.
