I am a retired/Disabled US Marine. Since my retirement; I find that I have more time to do what I love most. Researching my family and assisting others in their research. I orginially got started in the family tree research in Junior High and have never let go. I love discovering the past and were my family comes from. I truly enjoy history which makes my research and photo taking a pleasure for me. I try and keep in touch with the local cemetery directors about when new stones are placed. My wife hates vacation trips with me - I make it a point to copy the list of graves needed for the area we are going to and swing in and get them. My wife is a decended of Elvis Presley and Gen John Bell Hood of the CSA. Which helps to get my kids interested in the family tree.|
For those of you wishing to use my pictures on your personal or even online family trees. You are more than welcome to any picture I have taken. It was a honor for me to give your family a chance to see headstones that they may never have a chance otherwise.
I use generic URNS for my cremated memorials in order to place a memorial on this graves.
My current research revolves around the following families and their ancestors:
Rush's from Texas - Alabama
Simmons' - Texas (van zandt) / Oklahoma
Duke's - Texas
Simmons' - Texas (collin) / Oklahoma
Smith's - Texas (collin)
Hood's and Kelley's

Thank you for your reply. Viola was the daughter of Wiley Ledbetter Lunsford, whose brother James Pierce Lunsford is my great grandfather. I have also been trying to find out how he,Wiley was killed. All I can find out is he was killed in a tragic accident leaving a wife,Augusta and 9 children. Then Augusta was sent to Terrill State Hospital and her parents raised the children.I have searched every cemetery that I can think of and can't find Viola. Any help you might be able to give will be greatly appreciated.I am disabled so I have to do all my searching on the computer. Thanks, Maxine
Would you happen to know where John Lee Waggoner 1879-1950 wife is buried. Viola C Lunsford is my cousin, I have found all of her siblings, but have not been able to locate her burial place, 1887-1935. Any help would bee appreciated. My e-mail email@example.com. Thank you, Maxine

I'm sorry we were not able to assist you. I noticed you have removed your requests. I know our Cross section volunteer found the locations Restland had provided you and other folks named Douglass were buried there.

|Bobby Binion||George or Irene Anderson|
Are you related in any way to the Andersons in Tyler? My grandparents are George Milton and Cordelia Irene (Haynes) Anderson.
I know they were both orphans before they met and married, but the orphanage granny was in burned down right after she left and the records of her adoption are next to impossible to find online or via phone...(No one wants to research other people's family)
If you're ever in the Arkansas area and have time to look up orphanages that burned...my name is Bobby Binion and my cell is 8174586282. You can call or text any time.

John, Thank you for letting me know. The email portion of Find A Grave is still down. There is no way to tell IF contributors are getting the SAC's or not, and the notification of msg board posts is also down. Currently the only way to communicate is via the new edit features or remembering to look at ones own msg board.

John, I sent you an edit on Rodney Thomas. I'm not sure IF the email portion of Find A Grave is working correctly since their outage previously this week .. thus why I'm also posting here to your board about this entry. Per his obit (which I sent you) he will be placed in Lacy Cemetery. You need to change his burial from unknown over to Lacy Cemetery.

You are welcome. There were some more Scotts a few rows West of her but I don't recall any given names. A man was weed eating in the cemetery and said this was his grandmother but I didn't catch his first name.
