Bio and Links
Bio Photo like everyone else, I do make mistakes. i,m sorry if I make one on a memorial of yours. please let me know and I will try to correct it if I can...i think our loved ones deserve the respect we can give them through find-A-grave. sponsor a loved one. i will gladly transfer memorials to family members who want to build their memorials as long as they are not related to me. if I have added a photo to a memorial of yours you wish me to remove please let me know along with the f.a.g memorial number. Please ask before using one of my cemetery photo,s. I have done the leg work the least others can do is ask. I sometimes send out obituaries to a memorial, this is to help connect deceased family members. I want to thank everyone that has help link family members to their memorials. thank you one and all.

Clay County, KY Cemetery Mapping Project
Hi, Mike,

I'd like to invite you to join the group I created on Facebook to assist with mapping the cemeteries of Clay County. Since you have visited many of these cemeteries, I think you would be a great help with this endeavor.

Smith Cemetery#9
The Smith Cemetery # 9 is listed as being in Bright Shade (Clay County) Kentucky.
The correct address is Burning Springs (Clay County) Kentucky. My parents, brother and grandparents and other relatives are buried there.

I was looking at John Smith b. Feb 22, 1882
d. Dec 12 1969, this is my grandfather. All of these are buried at the Smith Cemetery in Burning Springs, Kentucky.

Thank you for your work on this and posting the pictures.

I am looking for directions to the cemeteries on Hammons Fork.. I have several people who are showing to be buried in two cemeteries there and I am trying to get it straightened out. I have seen that you have posted a lot of pictures from different cemeteries. I am related to the Smith family and I am trying to them and where they are buried. I have found a Gibson, Nan Riley,Ashen, Calvin Jordan, Walter Smith and Jones Cem.. I am looking for any other cemeteries in that holler. I am wondering if the Harrison smith cem. and the smith cem. are the same. Also hammons ledford and calvin Jordan cem. are the same the same people are show to be buried in both... Thanks for any help... Theresa

Lt. Melvin Grant Sigman's grave
Mike, do you happen to remember the location of the headstone (it appears flat) and memorial marble bench at the grave of Lt. Melvin Grant Sigman at Pine Hill Cemetery in Corbin, KY? We would like to visit it very soon. Thanks so much.
