My wife and I started researching our family trees back in 2011. We have enjoyed our time searching for our missing ancestors and learning more about them.
As our knowledge has increased, we have uncovered different resources that have been very helpful. One such resource was Find a Grave. As we found different ancestors on Find a Grave, we started visiting them, to see what else we could learn. As we visited the various cemeteries, we would find other relatives, that were not even listed on Find A Grave. Thus it became important to walk the entire cemetery, just in case there was someone there that had not "been found". Thus in the beginning, those that I was managing had a family connection.
As we visited more and more cemeteries looking for our relatives, it became apparent that there was a lot of non relatives that had a story to tell, that was just as important as my relatives. Thus we began to check a cemetery that we visited, to see if there were a lot of pictures missing or if there were a lot of names missing. Thus we began to add people that were not related, hoping that someone may find them.
I will be happy to transfer any of my non directs to you, or add any information for you. Please just let me know.
