Bio
Born 1957 in St. Louis, Missouri. Served in the United States Marine Corps and the United States Navy. Now retired from law enforcement. I descend from a number of Quaker families that were Underground Railroaders. One of the most well known relatives was my second great-granduncle Col. Samuel Newitt Wood (aka: The Fighting Quaker) of Chase County, Kansas. A number of these relatives were on the most radical side of the Underground Railroad as they aided and abetted Captain John Brown in Kansas and allowed him to train his men on their farms in Iowa just prior to his raid on Harpers Ferry. Col. Sam Wood ended up getting murdered in Stephens County, Kansas during the County Seat Wars.
