Bio Photo This site has been most helpful in my genealogical research, including my membership to Daughters of the American Revolution. I am trying to give back by contributing to Find-A-Grave.

I am happy to transfer anyone who is not a relation of mine.

I welcome corrections, additions, and notice of unintentional duplicates. Please be kind.

I am researching the following surnames: Horn/Horne from England 1830's, Ing/Inge, probably from England, and Dengle from Germany or Romania.

RE: re Walker family
Thanks for the info on the death certificates. Able to add a couple generations on several sides of the family tree.

RE: re Walker family
Thanks so much! I do like to care for my family, but I know many people want to keep them, so I rarely ask for a transfer.

Jennie Williams Eaton
You listed a posting on Jennie that she may have been married to Charles E. Williams, so Williams is her first married name and not her middle name. I have information that she married Charles Roger Williams in 1906. She is the daughter of Henry Faulkner and Matilda Wheeler, who are both buried in Spring Cemetery. I don't know yet, but Eaton must have been a second marriage.

Thanks so much for your service at this cemetery. It helps me a lot in my research.

Thank you so much, Mrs JB,

We all appreciate all the Find A Grave volunteers who make our research so much easier!

An interesting note about Mary Ann Metzler - her mother died when she was 10 y.o.; and her father, a German immigrant, apparently moved around with his work and most likely could not take care of a young girl. My cousin has papers from the orphan court where her father gave custody to John A. Metzler, who was 26 at the time.

Mary Ann and John Metzler eventually married. I wonder if she truly loved him, or whether she felt like she had no other options. I hope they loved each other and that he was kind to her; but these stories keep the fact fresh in my mind that many of our ancestors had very little choice, if any, in their lives. We're all here because everything happened exactly the way it did in our ancestor' lives, but I grieve a little for the children whose lives were determined by events beyond their control.

Thanks again,

Mary Ann Shuster Metzler # 95643702
I wondered if you might transfer the memorial of Mary Ann Shuster Metzler # 95643702,
Greenwood Cemetery,
New Castle
Lawrence County

Mary Ann is the sister of my cousin's ancestress and we are doing research on the family. We've found a big error on Mary Ann's site and wish to correct it and to add information that might help her descendants who are researching this line.

Warm regards,

Arthur Sanford headstone
Hi, I was looking at the photo you posted for Arthur Sanford. I can't read the wife's name, but it looks like it ends with an "A" and the middle initial is "B". Do you remember what the name is?? Thanks!

Gallagher's in Calvary Cemetery
I am not related to any of these so I transferred all to your safe-keeping. Enjoy.
