Bio and Links
Bio Photo Please let me know if I have made any errors and I will correct them. I am happy to add information to any of the memorials.

Please use the edit tab on the memorial page for corrections, additions or transfers.

Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. (FAG guidelines) If you can, please request changes through the edit tab on the memorial.

Thank you.

This is such a great way to find all those people who have gone before us and just get lost over the succeeding generations.

I look forward to finding many more of my own "lost" relatives that have gone before me and are waiting to be found in a little cemetery somewhere. I hope that I may have found some of yours here in Charles Mix County.

RE: Duane Francis Minahan
Thank you, Becky for getting back to me so quickly! I searched for St. Mark's Cemetery and Lake View Cemetery phone numbers but had no luck. I did find a phone number to the Deacon who is in charge of the Diocese of Sioux Falls cemeteries for arrangements. I am going to try and get in contact with him to verify that DFM is in St. Mark's Cemetery. I am no where near South Dakota and have never been to the great state as I am north east coast resident. Wondering if you are going back to the cemetery in the near future to check the grave marker just to make sure he is in St. Mark's? If I find out through the diocese I can let you know.

Thank You,
Barbara Parker

Hi Becky,

I saw the military grave picture you posted on Memorial 116459321 Saint Mark's Catholic Cemetery located Lake Andes, Charles Mix, SD. There is another memorial (115421735) for Duane F Minahan for Lake View Cemetery located Lake Andes, Charles Mix, SD. That memorial has the obit (Daily Republic Newspaper Mitchell, SD 17 June 1971)listed where it states DFM was to be buried in Lake View Cemetery. DFM's parents are buried in Saint Mark's Catholic Cemetery. Please check and get back to me where you actually took your military grave marker picture. After that I can deal with the memorial duplication.

Thank You,
Barbara Parker

Hi Becky,
You have this memorial listed twice in two different cemeteries:

156850758 1/8/16

156275778 12/22/15

Thought you might wish to figure out which is the correct one.
