Henry Hospers bio
Henry came to America on the Franziska, a sailing vessel which took 6-8 weeks to cross the Atlantic.
He came at the age of 17 with his father, mother, and all his brothers and sisters. He lost two of his sibs at sea and a 16 year old sister in Albany, New York. I believe it was from Scarlet Fever. The whole family came together. This is from the book:"Diary of a Journey from the Netherlands to Pella Iowa in 1849" by John( Jan) Hospers in 1849, translated from the Dutcvh by Jacob VanDerZee. It can be found on the internet.
Also his mother was Hendrika Middelkoop who with her husband and surviving children did get to Pella, Iowa. Henry married Hendrina Overkamp, who is my relative.

RE: Sarah Jane Rosier and John David Bond

Thank you so very much for the transfer. If I come across any information I will be more than happy to pass it along to you. I am always happy to help family with information. Is your friend on Ancestry? Here is my email address, If your friend has Ancestry or if you do, you can find me on Ancestry as tgephardt. My tree on Ancestry is private. But I would be happy to provide you or your friend with a link to my tree to see information that I might have.

Again, Thank you so much for the transfer. Have a wonderful evening!

Sarah Jane Rosier and John David Bond
Good Evening! My name is Tammy Gephardt. I stumbled across these wonderful Memorials that you have created for my Ancestors. The purpose of my writing is to ask if you'd mind transferring them to me. Sarah Jane Rosier is my 2nd Great Aunt, and her husband John David Bond is my 2nd Great Uncle. I so appreciate all the time you put into creating such Memorials for Ancestors like me to find. Respectively they are Sarah Jane Rosier Bond, Memorial #42046698 and John David Bond, Memorial #42046708. They are buried in Houcktown Cemetery, Houcktown, Hancock County, Ohio.

I so very much appreciate all your hard work. Thank you again. If you are a relation of either Sarah Jane or John David, might I inquire how you are related?
