I'm Peter Hakze, residing in the city of Almere in the center of the Netherlands, 15 miles east of Amsterdam. Since about 1985 I'm investigating a.o. my mother's family Van der Tuin (= Of the Garden). In March/April 1893 Johannes van der Tuin and his wife Margje Groen (= Green) emigrated with their children from NL to South Dakota, Charles Mix County, Edgerton (or Overijssel), a settlement near Platte. Margje's parents and siblings Groen emigrated at the same time to the same place. I'm interested in all what happened there to them, so if you have some info for me which isn't already on my Rootsweb site, I would be very grateful.|
Since a few years I'm also very interested in all Dutch families that emigrated from the Netherlands to the USA incl. their descendants and I like very much to improve their FAG memorials with more info and photos, create new memorials for them and link them to their ancestors in the Netherlands.

I have transferred Albert to you. I did not create the memorial for his wife, so you will need to ask the person who created it for the transfer.
Have a beautiful day!
|Diann House||Cornelius Van Stright|
I am the great granddaughter of Cornelius Van Stright, living in Houston TX right now. I was relooking at Jennie Schoon (Jane Van Stright)in my Ancestry.com tree and found you were maintaining her Find a Grave. I would love it if you had more info concerning Cornelius and his wife Gertie Zyp regarding birth and parents and immigration records. My cousin has traced his birth back to Maastricht. He settled in Highland, IN. They had 9 children of whom my grandfather Gilbert was one. I was just on a river cruise through Germany & the Netherlands which has rekindled my desire to know more about my family.

|Glenda Barry||Ewold Huizenga|
I have transferred Ewold to you. There are 2 other Huizengas that I can transfer if you want, they are Johannes and Trijntje.
I don't have any Dutch relatives that I know about, I think those wooden shoes would be very uncomfortable!
Have a happy day!
|Glenda Barry||Alice & Anthony Van Kley|
I have transferred them over to you. I noticed there are 2 other Van Kleys that I can transfer if you want. They are:
Arthur Van Kley (1910 - 1996)
Kenneth Van Kley (1934 - 1971).
Let me know if you want either one or both.
Have a happy day!

You are very welcome, I'm always glad to help. Take care and let me know when I can help with transfers.
|Glenda Barry||Kleinhuizen Family|
I have transferred them all to you. No, I have never been out of the USA, and I've probably been to about 16 or 17 states in this country. My sister lives in South Carolina, it's about 800 miles from where I live in Indiana and I go there sometimes, but that's about as far as I go. Take care and let me know when you need transfers, I'm always glad to help.
|Glenda Barry||Kingma Family|
I have transferred the three of them over to you.
There are 4 other Kingmas that I can transfer if you want, all buried in Cook County, Illinois:
Jennie (Lloyd) Kingma 1883-1928
John G. Kingma 1890-1926
Joseph Kingma 1882-1952
Tryntje Kingma 1896-1897
Let me know if you want these 4 also.
Have a happy day!
