Update to profile.
If you sent me a SAC since August 15, 2013 and I have not made corrections - it may have been accidently deleted. Please resend. I know of at least 2 that were deleted by mistake.
I am retired and live in Central North Carolina. I have been doing family research for 40 years. The internet just makes it easier to look for dead relatives, but you still have to make sure the information is correct.
Some of my favorite cemeteries are Bonaventure in Savanah, Ga, Allegheny in Pittsburgh, Pa and Oakdale in Wilmington, NC. I love the old statues and the hidden meanings of different designs of headstones.
All photos submitted by me are copyrighted by me, no use of photos for any other website or personal use is given without prior consent.

I am glad to enter corrections, links and additional information. Please use the Edit tab on the memorial and click on the Suggest a Correction link. Do not email transfer requests or corrections. Please use the Edit tab on the memorial.
ADDENDUM: Photographs I have taken at burial locations may be used by others for any legitimate purpose. Hopefully, I would be given credit for the work. Personal photographs I have added to memorials that I created and maintain, remain in my control and are considered copyrighted materials. I hope that you will enjoy viewing the personal photographs I have posted.

|Kathryn Ann Beal henry||regarding Olie Beal buried in Proximtiy|
I seen that you had an Olie Beal born 1881 and died on Apr 11, 1911. I have a BIG feeling that her father could possibly be J.L. Beal (John L. Beal). I am going to try and look into this. Her obit, as you said, shown her living on Walnut Street. John L. Beal was shown on his death certificate of the address 40 Walnut Street. A few Beal's in J.L.'s family actually lived on Walnut Street as well. The date of 1881 matches up to be one of his children. That's something to look into if you can find out faster then me.
I did a little digging and yes, the Thomas E. Beal was married to an Effie but she is a different Effie. Her name is Effie Jane Mcintosh. The Effie
J.L. Beal was married to was Effie Jane Hale(s).
|Kathryn Ann Beal henry||RE: Thomas E Beal|
That's very interesting. I was just down there last month at the proximity cemetery with my father Robert Edward Beal to see the headstone of J.L. Beal. J.L is my father's great great grandfather. All the research I have found on the death certificate of Effie's is that she was married to J.L. Beal. As we walked through the cemetery I came across what looks like foot stones of 2 other Beals located further to the right on the otherside of where J.L. was buried. Just the names only. One was Thomas E. Beal and the other one was Betty J. Beal. I was able to take pictures of these stones but I don't know where they fit into the family. Not yet anyways... This is going be a joy ride for me to figure out. Is effie buried in proximity as well? We were not there long to look to find her stone. At the moment I am in Germany (Military spouse) and not being in NC to help me with my Beal research is frustrating. I'll try to look into this Thomas E. Beal to see what I can find out.

Yes I think he died in Indiana and then the wife moved here. Thank you.
|Terry and the Pirates.||Duella Owen Parrish.|
Thank you for answering my request and sending this wonderful photo.
|marie marlowe||RE: Myers in Proximity|
Thank you very much for your help.
|Record Keeper||Samuel Talbert|
I have Talberts in my family and they use both spellings. Even the ones who use the Tal spelling pronounce it Tol. You could have left yours and I would have deleted mine. I see you have the LDS Church in Greensboro on your list. We have a lot in common. I am retired, live in central NC and am LDS.
Thank you for tokens on my Dad and Father-in-law's memorials. Your thoughtfulness is appreciated.

|Brad||Mossett H Owen|
Thank you for filling my photo request for Mossett Owen & also for getting the photo for his sister Duella's marker as well. That photo request was less than 24 hours old! Much appreciated, Brad
