Bio Photo Hi, If you find a family members headstone photo I have added please feel free to use it for your files. I am happy to turn over memorials I have added to family members. The only exception would be someone in my family. But even that is possible if you are closer related then I am.

Charlotte H. Eastman Peterson
Hi Kristi -

Would you please correct the data for this entry? Charlotte's parents were Birdie E. Chase (1873-1915), as you have listed, and George Mayer, aka Charles Hoyt (1862-1933). Birdie Chase and George Mayer were married in 1890 and divorced before 1898. Charlotte was their only child. Birdie Chase then married Alva Otis Eastman in 1898. Alva Otis Eastman was Charlotte's step father, not biological father. George Mayer changed his name to Charles Hoyt and moved to Washington state in 1887, after having deserted from the Army. Please email me if you have questions about this family unit. Charlotte had some correspondence with her Mayer family over the years, mostly first cousins in Michigan. I have copies of a few letters. Or take a look at my family tree on for more details. Thank you very much!

RE: Hoke Family
Hi Kristi. I'm so excited and am sure Karen and possibly her sister Barbara will get in touch with you really soon regarding their grandfather George W. Hoke who passed away before either of them was born. They do remember their grandmother, Amelia, well. Thank you so much!! My Best, Kathie

RE: Anne Small

You are very welcome glad I could help. You could contact the cemetery grounds keeper and see if Anne and Thomas are buried in Oak View cemetery if so I'd be happy to go back and take a photo for you even if they don't have a grave marker.

Best Regards,

You're welcome for the photo...I was glad that we were able to find his stone this time. Don't know how we missed it last trip!

RE: Hey there
Hope things settle down with you soon and it all works out. The new claimer of the photo request is also in GH and will be joining us as part of our carpool to Mt View.

Hey there
You ever find that tombstone in GH cemetery?

Hi there fellow graver
I see you got in contact with Kathy on that photo request for Gig Harbor Cemetery. It's great to know there's another in the GH area that likes to visit cemeteries. Kathy and I tackled Haven of Rest in Gig Harbor together and then took on Calvary in Lakewood. I'm heading up getting some local folks together to do Mountain View in Lakewood starting in May 2013. Perhaps earlier if the weather is good. If you'd be interested in helping out, please let me know.
