Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been interested in genealogy for some time but have only been researching seriously for the past seven years or so. The family names that I am most interested in are: Curbow; Ham; Atwood; Grantham; Montoya; Spencer; Geier and Lipsdorf. Many of our ancestors settled in the south - the Carolinas, Georgia, Mississippi and Texas. Additionally, I have many lines who were present in New Mexico and Utah for generations. One entire branch of my tree is from Germany. Please contact me if you have anything to add to one of my memorials....or if you spot any errors. I am located in central Texas....please contact me if I can assist you with a photograph. Thank you.

Pauls Valley Cemetery
The Pauls Valley Cemetery was closed circa 1905. because it lies near Rush Creek and was subject to flooding. The new cemetery MT OLIVET was opened about a mile further south on a hill. This person is probably buried there.

Re: Montoya in Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Cemetery

I just check and there is a separate entry for a Raymundo and Crecencio Raymundo Montoya. So it looks like we didn't find the one that you have a request in for :(

I'll upload the Raymundo Montoya. (it has a photo in the marker).

Montoya in Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Cemetery
I had some of your photo requests and accidentally let them expire. I've fulfill the two that we found.

But on the Crecencio Montoya one the closest I could find was: Raymundo Montoya Aug. 16 1912, Feb. 1, 1939. Do you think this is a match for Crecencio?

Also we did not find Maria & Maximiano Montoya markers.

RE: Geneveva Ubina
You are very welcome, of course. I always go out and double check the "unmarked" graves later, to see if a stone has been added. That happened recently, in fact on my last soiree to Union, so it is worth the extra time and effort. I, too, am always saddened to find no stone or marker for someone. I take my grown daughter with me these days as she's very interested in photographing the markers, and she confided that it makes her weepy to think of anyone, especially children, buried "all alone and unmarked". I will keep up with Geneveva's grave whenever possible.
