RE: 159826712 Judith Labelle
Hi, I was thinking the same has not occurred yet. Once the cremains are interred, it will show up on the back of her husband's stone.

I have a hunch that the family will hold a memorial service at the gravesite when the weather is warmer. In fact today when I was at the cemetery, I saw several very fresh graves, meaning that they were finally buried when the ground thawed enough.

One way you can check this is to key in veterans cemeteries in the US, and it will take you to a list of all the veterans' cemeteries in the US. Scroll down the list to Northern Wisconsin Veterans in Spooner WI. Then you will key in Judith's name, and if it pops up, it means she is there.

Once she is there, let me know, and I will take the photo.

Her obit does say she was cremated and that her ashes will be buried next to her husband.

Susan, are you cettain Judith was buried here?. I was there today (March 28, 2015)m and she is not in the cemetery's registry. It would be much appreciated if you could call them to verify this. If she was not buried, it would be also appreciated if you could delete her memorial or correct to a different cemetery so not confuse others. Thanks so much.

if she was indeed buried there but her name has not shown up in the registry yet, please let me know and I will be happy to go back in a couple of weeks.

Typically a temporary stone is placed the same day of the burial, meaning the name goes into the registry right away. A permanent stone is put up in a couple of weeks or less, depending on the weather.

RE: Henking family
Just wanted to touch base thanking you again for the photos- I recently had the opportunity to visit my Henking gravesite in San Diego and I have to say it was quite moving to be there with my brother- Bill Geppert who has lived in the area for almost 20 yrs. Family going full circle.

You're welcome. I was lucky to find it as it was completely buried. I could not find William but I assume his stone is buried also. I informed the grounds keeper and they were going to look into it. I will go back and search for William again.

RE: Corp Jacob Beals
You are welcome. So sorry it was difficult to read, so many of the stones in the Old Beals cemetery are deteriorating and have fallen over or are difficult to read. His stone, however, is still upright and firmly standing.

RE: Gorham Hunt
Hi Susan,
You're welcome. Yes, I was the one who said Melzar is buried in Fluvanna. I took the headstone photo for him there and I took the headstone photo for his first wife in Sinclairville Evergreen, there was an empty space next to her headstone, so there's no headstone for Melzar in Sinclairville.
Sincerely, Ron Kinney
