Bio and Links
Bio Photo I photograph the beautiful carving detail and statuary in cemetaries for personal interest & preservation. The more time I spend in cemetaries, the more interesting history, stories and stones I find. I am especially interested in taking photos for future generations and people who may be miles away - I think that adds a meaningful purpose to my outings :)
At the forums encouragement, I'm adding many of the photos I've taken if they have names on them - If I can add one link in someone's genealogical chain, I'll be happy!

Jamie, thank you for taking these photos. What a shame that the lichen is so thick. Thanks to you, we now have a photo before they become impossible to read.

Seriously!

Oh, I would really like the other photo you took, if it's not too much trouble!

Amanda and Hipshy
Thank you so much again, Jamie, for the great pictures of Amanda's and especially for Hipshy's stone. He is by far my favorite long lost relative. I know it must be getting pretty cold to be taking pictures in Wisconsin, so its's especially appreciated! Thanks again.

Cato cemetery
I see you have photographed gravestones at the Cato Cemetery in Wisconsin. I am looking for my gr.gr.gr. grandfathers grave and I think it's possible it may be there. He died in Cato in 1860 and was born in Vermont in 1782. His name is Eli Robinson. He also shows up in the 1850 census as living in Rochester, Racine Co., WI. Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated!
