|I grew up and live in (Athens)Southeast Ohio. When I have the time, I enjoy doing research on my family history. I enjoy walking through cemeteries looking for family markers. If you wish to use any photos that I have posted you may. I take the photos and post them hoping to help others find their relatives markers. As long as I am not directly related to the person I am willing to transfer memorials to family members. I post the memorials so that family members who are searching can locate them. Then allow them to take care of their ancestors memorial, if they wish. The number of memorials I manage does not mean anything to me. To me it is all about getting a correct memorial posted and hopefully then taken over by a family member.|

I found an obit with a "Jane" instead of a Lydia on it. It appeared to be same person but obit said buried in another cemetery. I asked the question because I wanted to be sure the photo came from that 1st cemetery with her husband so maybe they were 2 different people.
I did more looking around and found they were the same person.
Her physical body is buried at cemetery Find A Grave # 84062521 under "L" Jane. That is Lydia Jane. So you guessed correctly her remains are not in the 1st cemetery. Sometimes the DOD is not put on the stone and they are buried there and sometimes - no DOD on stone because not buried there. This time is the latter.

I was wondering if you physically took the headstone photos for Lydia & Lloyd Canode. I ask only because I want to be 100% they are buried in that cemetery. If you physically walked that cemetery and saw that headstone then I know that is the correct cemetery. If you found the photos on the net and posted them to Find A Grave..that is not proof the headstone was physically in that cemetery.
