Bio

I was always interested in history, and had a list of all my great-grandparents, I have memories of 6 of them. When my grandmother Marcella Schmeck Fegley was approaching her 97 birthday she started talking about her relatives and wanting to know something about them. So for her 97th birthday I presented her with her genealogy going back to the earliest settlers in Berks Co.,PA. She had over 20 ancestors serve in the PA Militia during the Revolution. Unfortunately records were lost so we do not know how many served in the Continental Army. We discovered her parents were 2nd cousins. Her mother came from a family of 17 kids. My grandmother came from a family of 12, 1 brother fought in WWI and 5 brother fought in WWII. After doing her family I started working on my family and found out my mother is my 7th cousin on my father's side. Most of my ancestors were PA Dutch and they settled in Berks Co after coming to America.

If you are a descendant of someone I have added, I will gladly transfer any relative unless they are related to me. I will also add information if you send it to me.
