Hi Pat,
GH Burrows is my GG Grandfather. Guy R Burrows was my great grandfather. I had he obit for GH from a cousin I contacted on Ancestry. I'm just curious where you got it from. I have not heard from Raymond who is the maintainer- my cousin. I'm wondering if he has passed since I've not been able to contact him since 2010. Just thought I'd touch base and find out where you got the obituary.
GH Burrows was famous as the story went in my family, but now I know he was a prominent citizen of Southside Richmond.

Thank you Pat. I am new to all this but have added a few more of my family to the site. I wish I knew more about my grandfather, He died long time before I was born. I remember someone saying that he was hurt near a railroad track. Something about complications with an injury to his arm ..maybe? Not sure. He had four sons. Jack, Leroy, Robert (my father) and Ray. They have all since passed. I recently visited New Hope Cemetery. Thanks again and it was good to hear from you,,, Hugs, Dolores | | |
