Remember - there is a story under every tombstone. I am working to see that these people are not forgotten.|
As one of my fellow gravers put it: "Eat, Sleep, Genealogy, Find A Grave".
NOTE: I give my blanket permission for any of the photographs I have taken on Find A Grave to be used for any non-commercial purpose.

Thanks for the picture of Chick Bole's grave. And thanks for the picture of this grave relative to the marker of his parents and an uncle. I did not know where they were buried. I will edit them with additional information.

Many thanks for the meaningful pictures you have taken of our family monuments. The overall pictures of the placement of the graves with names is especially helpful and I am very grateful for your dedication to this project.

Hi Jim, I'll take the Shoffmans and I will figure out where they fit in. I'm sure they do. Do you also take photos for Jewish Gen? AlbqFirefly of Findagrave sent me a photo of Leo Weinberg's grave (my husband's great grand uncle)and he said it was taken by the Jewish Gen.org folks. He did not post this photo on Findagrave but I would like to get permission to do so from Jewish Gen. Do you know anyone there? I have only joined their site last week and have not had time to explore it.
Thanks again for the photos. Best regards, Kay

Hi Jim, Harry Shoffman is Geraldine Shoffman's father-in-law. I don't know how Maurice fits in but if you are there sometime, please photograph Harry and Maurice if it is convenient. No hurry. I am still looking for Jerome Shoffman, Geraldine's husband. It's possible he died much later and I don't have a date so,if you ever run across him in your travels, please add him too. Thanks so much! Best regards, Kay Marshall

Thank you again for the great job you are doing for me with the images of the Davis gravestones. The details on the stones have helped me sort out the various family members who have similar names. It was cold here in Florida (low 50's) this morning, and I'm sure it was probably colder in Chicago, so I especially appreciate your efforts.
