It Will be 12 years on Sept. 27th 2016 and we still have no answers to my brothers death. Mark was 44 at the time of his sudden passing. He passed away in his sleep on September 27, 2004 of unknown causes. Mark was a wonderful brother, son, Uncle and dear friend to all of those who knew him. He is greatly missed by all of us and not a day goes by that we don't think about him or that his name is brought up with great memories. We love you always brother and we hope to some day solve the mystery of your sudden death. Thank you to all who have left flowers for Mark.
Alta Lucile Porter Doby Thanks Valerie, it is good to hear from you. I don't know how I manage to get her date of birth, are there other things. Would you like to mange the grave site. I don't know how to do that. But please if you want the site or any other's take them. I almost died in 2012, spent months in the hospital and nursing home, I can't get out and do things now like I use to. I send you my love. Dianne Ryan Richards in Michigan
RE: Christopher C Doby I no longer take apart my gen and history books to make copies, as through the years it has been a bit costly. I acquired a lot of my info by researching vital records, etc in N.C. Texas, New Mexico and Okla, and taking out membership in their Gen. Societies. Some of my photos are from personal family records. Also I aquired limited info from Ancestry.Com, Mormon library, also lots of research on Okla early history. If you have not you may try these sources. They do have some information.
RE: Christopher C Doby I have quite a bit of info on the Doby family on Find A Grave if you look there. I am sure you know all about Chris and the Okla Land Rush. I have a lot of old pictures around that time, copy of his marriage certificate and different things. I was never able to find out anything about his parents other than their names and I have tried many sources through the years. I have several books of gen. and family history that I have compiled through the years all typed and embellished with photos, certificates and other appropo materials. I do not research as often as I did. Would love to find out more about my gr grandparents, Dobys, and Davis. Good luck in your quest. It is so fascinating when one discovers something new. Best wishes, Tad
