Bio and Links
Bio Photo Genealogy has been a passion for years. Find A Grave is a way for me to "pay it forward". By helping others find their families, I can repay the many who helped me in my search. Find A Grave has been a wonderful tool for me.

This is a hobby. I have a job and can't do this everyday. Therefore, my response times may vary. To ensure there are no misunderstandings, to reduce errors and to keep my participation manageable, here are my expectations.

TRANSFERS: I will transfer memorials within the Find A Grave four-generation rule. While I do believe memorials best belong with family members, I may in some cases choose to retain them. In those instances, I will be happy to add additional information or links. Certainly, I will not transfer my own relatives except in very rare instances.

REQUESTING TRANSFERS: Use the "Edit" button; I will not respond to email transfer requests. This helps ensure accuracy. Please do not request multiple transfers in one message; one person per request. Do not send requests like "transfer all Smiths in this cemetery". To comply with transfer policy, you must fully explain your relationship to the individual. You must include your Find A Grave name and contributor number; I will not search for you.

LINKS: While genealogy is a secondary function of Find A Grave, I think linking makes Find A Grave more informative and is a great genealogy tool. Again, use the "Edit" button. I will not respond to email requests. One person per request. For example, if you want to link all the children of a couple to the parents, send an individual request for each child. Be sure to include your name and contributor number.

PICTURES: You have permission to use my pictures. I would appreciate that you attribute them to "Cheryl, findagrave member 47386524". Doing so will allow somebody with questions about the cemetery to contact me.

MORE ON PICTURES: I recently got a "complaint" that I didn't "straighten" the flowers in a picture. I don't go to the cemetery to take pictures of flowers. My goal is to record the family information on the stone. I may even "crop" the flowers out of a picture in order to get a better picture of the history. Plus, I DO NOT DISTURB the gravesite. At times, I've basically "stood on my head" to take a picture so as not to disturb the gravesite. It doesn't always make for perfect pictures but, just know, I did my best to preserve the history without disturbing anything. They all need to REST IN PEACE!

MY SON: I lost my son, Dustin, in 2009. Please visit his memorial 67376999. He is sorely missed every day.

IN CASE OF DEATH: I'm planning to become a very OLD lady! It's challenging to get links, transfers, corrections when a contributor is deceased. Therefore, Kathy Vanchieri or Amanda Ware will assume control of my memorials upon my demise. It's in my will!

Ljucile Greeson
When the by-pass was built around Waynesboro, all the Greeson graves were moved to Wayne Co. Memory Garden on old #99. I have photographed John Greeson, but did not find a marker for Lucile, nor is she listed on Sorry.

James Hollis - Bethlehem Cemetery - Wayne Co. Tennessee
Cheryl - you probably had noticed - I have been to Bethlhem and took photos for Find A Grave. I cannot find a James Hollis with dates of 1898 - 1983. Thereis at one other James Hollis with different dates.
Also he is not listed on or Cemeteries in the Collinwood Quadrangle.
Please let me know what you think.
Same for Ethel Moor - there is a stone for one Ethel Moore - but different dates. She is not listed on David and Martha Montgomery physically inventory each cemetery - writing down the name and dates on all visible stones.

To get your request for a photo of this grave site at Live Oak Memorial Park in Monrovia, California it would help if you could call the cemetery and obtain the grave location and add that information to your request.

They are very busy but they do respond to requests but you might have to leave them your email or telephone number so that they can contact you with the grave location at a time to suit their work schedule.

Their number is (626) 359-5311

Kind regards

james Hardin - Old Town Cemetery - Waynesboro
I had to remove large limb blocking gate to Old Town. I walked the grounds twice - no sign of a stone for one James Hardin. Sorry. Lots of fieldstones and his name does appear on the Wayne Co. Cemeteries list as buried at Old Town - just no marker.

Elizaabeth Jones - Shields Cemetery
I put the pic on for their stone - I think her birth date is 1836 because his is 1833 - I don't think he would have married her if she were born in 1886 - I could be wrong.

This was pointed out to me last week. I sent the daughter a message asking her to delete hers and I will give her mine as mine is more complete. I have not heard from her.
