Bio and Links
Bio Photo I've been doing genealogy for over 20 years and have found resources like FindAGrave to be very helpful.
I believe that one should give as much as they take, thus I've become a contributor to this site.

Transfers and Photos

Since I am not related to most of the memorials I've created, I will gladly transfer them if you are family of the person memorialized. Please feel free to use my photos for personal use, for other purposes I ask you credit me as the photographer.

Obituaries

Find A Grave prefers that volunteers not add obituaries to their memorials due to potential copyright issues. However, since obituaries and death notices published before 1923 are in the public domain (see How Long Copyrights Last), I will add them. Please do not request the addition of obituaries or death notices published in 1923 or later. If you would like to write an original biography, however, I'll be happy to post it, with attribution.

Please DO NOT add images of death certificates to my memorials. Missouri Death Certificates are readily available here.

Personal Pedigree Genealogy
Robert Kane
Hello! I am wondering where you got the information that Robert Kane, who died 13 Sept 1919 in Kansas City, Missouri was born in Ireland (on 15 Sep 1849)? The US Census records all state he was born in Pennsylvania. Trying to sort this all out, so would appreciate any doc to support where he was actually born. Thanks a ton! Lisa

Thanks so much for creating his record. His mother's maiden name was Stevenson. I've sent the edits to you to add his parents' records.

RE John Clemens Hood
John CLEMETH Hood, named after his grandfather, Clemeth Abercrombie, was my grandfather. His sister, Lulu Sarah Hood, was not a half-sister, as you have shown. I'm not sure I have added him to Find A Grave, so no need to transfer, but I have all the information about him, his younger brother needs listing, plus his wife and children. Do you have some documentation re the CLEMENS middle name? - Just curious. Reese Gibson

John B Stewman
Greetings Curtis,
Will you please transfer John B Stewman to me? I would so very much appreciate it.
I am still searching for his Father, to no avail as of yet.
I believe him to be buried in a church cemetery in Sylacauga,Talladega,Alabama.
Since he died there in 1924.
He was a Preacher of many years.
I have been working on locating this family for so many years & very Thankful you found his resting place.
Please transfer him?
Big Thank You.

Elizabeth

Edit for Emma J. Brown
The edit suggestion I sent for Emma for the date and place of death is from a newspaper notice about her death and also a different newspaper tidbit that told of her illness and that she was staying with her daughter in Tekamah, NE. I do have a copy of the death notice if you want to confirm. Thanks for all you do!

sisters
Eunice (Irvin) Landrum
I have found Eunice in the 1920 and 1930 federal censuses, but her gravestone says she died in 1918 and is buried with her parents. Can you give me any more information on the possibility of there being two different Eunice (Irvin) Landrums? Thank you.

I HAVE waited for months now, if you do not correct this error I will have to report it to Find A Grave no one deserves to have a sibling be linked as a parent is not right Curtis and you ignore it.
