Bio and Links
Bio Photo I became interested in our family history as a direct result of the avid interest of my mother and oldest sister. My life has become enriched by this desire to know where I came from. Thanks mom and sis!

I truly enjoy Find A Grave and the Find A Grave community; who is so willing to help other researchers!

I am very willing to add to and correct any of the memorials I manage and will do so as quickly as possible. Please help me out by making suggestions through each memorial's EDIT button. This makes it much easier to locate the correct memorial to make the recommended additions and corrections. It will also make certain that I see the request. Requests made through member page messages can get missed.

Thanks much!

Fredrick Ault
Hi Jenean,
It's me again. You helped me find some graves in Greenwood Cemetery in Monroe, now I need some help with something else. I have been working on the "Ault" side of my family ancestry. I discovered that you added Fredrick Ault, 1844-1930, Find A Grave # 54997777 and his wife Mary, 1849-1936, Find A Grave # 54997786 to West Clarno Pioneer Cemetery in Clarno, Wi. I also discovered Larry Jones added them both to Kelly-Franklin Cemetery in Browntown, Wi. Larry's Find A Grave #'s are, Fredrick, 15502208 and Mary, 15502241. You both added the exact same picture of their headstone. So, I'm confused as to which cemetery they are actually in. You were so helpful the last time I contacted you, I hope you can help me figure this one out. Thank You for any info. you can give me.

RE: Memorial# 54950895
Thanks! I made one mistake, but that doesn't affect your changes. Her husband James died in Knox County, Ohio, in 1845. Her SON James and grandson James are the ones buried in Waterman Cemetery. I don't know of a memorial number for her husband, but you can find the son and grandson by searching Waterman Cemetery, O'Brien County, Iowa.

Three James' in a row... makes it a bit confusing. They are my great, great great, and great great great grandfathers. LOL!

I believe you misread the tombstone. Her age would be 90 years, 11 months, 19 days. Not the 30 years stated. The style of the 9's admittedly do look somewhat like 3's, especially when the stone wears. My research had put her birth ABOUT 1778, so if the 90y, 11m, 19d is correct that would put her birth sometime in September 1777.
Her husband, James Parks, is supposedly buried in Waterman Cemetery, O'Brien County, Iowa.
I believe her maiden names was Hanes, but am not 1005 certain of that.

You transferred this memorial to me, so just wanted you to know that this is another one of Maurice Montgomery's screw-ups. He ordered the headstone back in the 90's. The problem is that John Smith is buried in Tennessee, where he died. This grave is for JACOB Smith.... Company E, 33rd Wisconsin Infantry who was from Janesville. Maurice also screwed up when he ordered a headstone for Private Charles A. Brown, Wisconsin Heavy Artillery, Company M. There is a Charles A. Brown buried up by Cpt. Benton in Block 91. That Brown died in 1862. The Charles A. Brown that served in the Civil War didn't enlist until 1864, and is buried in Green Lake.... I am going to remove both headstones... I'll probably put John Smith's in Fulton Cemetery as a cenotaph. Brown's is going to Green Lake. This is why amatuers shouldn't order headstones.
