Bio and Links
Bio Photo I became interested in our family history as a direct result of the avid interest of my mother and oldest sister. My life has become enriched by this desire to know where I came from. Thanks mom and sis!

I truly enjoy Find A Grave and the Find A Grave community; who is so willing to help other researchers!

I am very willing to add to and correct any of the memorials I manage and will do so as quickly as possible. Please help me out by making suggestions through each memorial's EDIT button. This makes it much easier to locate the correct memorial to make the recommended additions and corrections. It will also make certain that I see the request. Requests made through member page messages can get missed.

Thanks much!

RE: Mem. # 134056434
I would think you are right. At the very beginning of the survey there are two unidentified stones listed as being at Row 16/17 Block 01 Lots 37 or 54 between the Isely (37) & Buehler (54) families' stones. On a walking tour they should follow little Minnie Isabel Isely who died in 1880 at almost 3yrs of age. Congratulations Super Sleuth :) How neat.

Benjamin Hawk
Jenean,

Benjamin and Ellen Murphy were my 3 great grandparents. Benjamin was difficult to research on as he moved a lot. I would like to have some sources that Benjamin at burial in IL was same person as my ancestor. I only found a record of him is marriage record at Green County House, Monroe, WI.

Also, I am curious how related we are.

Sincerely,

Albert

thank you, thank you, thank you
Jenean, for all the tombstone photos!!! Forgot to note on Jeremiah Lewis's that despite no death-date engravature (is that a word?) though he died in Elgin his funeral was held at Stephen Miller's home in Monroe and proceeded from there. [I do hope I didn't send you chasing to the office to check on it.] AND it's gotten me back to tracking down the rest of the Miller descendants. Found Mary (Lewis) Miller, dau of Jeremiah & Margaret, just now, buried with husband Anton Miller, jr., in Los Angeles...and sent an edit to link, and Anton to Anton Sr & Barbara, and I'm just so excited about it all again. Thank you.
