Bio

We hope the information we provide is of some help and value to others. We try to provide a headstone photo with each file.

I retired after 35 years with SUPERVALU Inc. I have lived in the Jackson, Ms. area for 45 years.

My wife and I became involved with Find A Grave as a means of helping her sister Mary Ann Malone Beggs with her genealogy and Family Tree. My wife Sue Malone Smith and I have helped her by walking many cemeteries, searching for family member's graves. We would photograph the headstone and copy the information. We have occasionally helped her with research at various libraries and courthouses.

Mary Ann has done the majority of the research. She has made many trips and met many wonderful people and relatives, whom she would have never known if not for genealogy.
The family names that we are working on are Malone, Finnegan, Kirby, O'Flinn, O'Flynn, Carr, Harrington, Bergin, Sherman and Skehan. Mary Ann and Sue are the daughters of Felix John Malone Sr. (The oldest son of Frank K. and Catherine Gertrude Malone)

I am ALWAYS glad to add family links, make needed corrections, and to add appropriate bio information (if no bio has been added).

Find-A-Grave Policy on Transfers

Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations; this would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents. Keep in mind that the original contributor may also be related to the memorial and may not want to make the transfer.
