My screen name is a nod to my favorite movie "Harold & Maude."|

I just added a marker photo for Mateo Albert
Pacheco. Not sure if you photo is for the same
person. What do you think?
Thank you for the burial location for John, or Johann Foahim Heinrich Bartels! He was my grandfather's grandfather. I suppose his wife is also there. Much appreciated!

I would like to request a transfer of the Henry Koshland page as he was my Great Grandfather. Thank you for considering it.

I was an infant when my father drowned off Montauk Point (the Pelican disaster). I was told his body was recovered and he was buried, although I never visited his grave. I saw where "Maude" indicated his body was "lost at sea" and, I could not find a gravesite for his body so, it may well be, that is the case and this as the story my mother (now, long since deceased) shared to give us closure. Please help. My children are now grown and I'd like to provide an honest accounting of what happened to the man I never really knew.. my father.

I was at the cemetery in Half Moon Bay searching for James O'Cain and came across the gravestone for the Terry family. I noticed that there is an inscription for Frank Terry, Jr. on the side of the stone, so I photographed and posted it under Frank Terry, Jr. Now he will have a photograph of his own.

I noticed you posted a stone that I believe to be my great grandmother's. The stone says "Mary C. Bettencourt", but I noticed the transcribed record on the site says "Mary Bettencourt Cardoza" (with Cardoza italicized). Cardoza was her maiden name. But if it's not written on the stone, where did this information come from?
Thanks for your help!
