I have been involved in genealogy since the early 1970's. It is my passion and I love helping others find the information they want on their ancestors. I have recently moved into the area where most of my ancestors lived and died.

According to Find A Grave guidelines: Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
This means the original should be transferred directly to you to manage. If you have a problem getting the original memorial with no reply after 30 days, email the situation to Edit at findagrave.com. The person who made the original memorial name stays on the memorial because she made the original one, but you manage it because you are within the four generations kin. | | | Mary Enzor Smith

when i was three to four years old on what they use to call keener lane we moved back to the old home place just a couple of houses from the church until 1970

I looked in the 97 Etowah Co AL Cem 1998 and did find the other John Brannon but not this one. I do not know if this book is a phyiscal survey listing or a paperwork listing or what sources it came from but that is all I have found so far. I also checked in the Little Known Burial Sites and Cem for Etowah and couldn't find him in there either with any dates other than the other John Brannon. Quite the mystery.
