I am an avid geneologist, lover of history, walking through graveyards, and helping make connections on both sides of the veil. You are welcome to use any photo that I have posted.|
I have passed the point of being able to keep up on all the memorials I am a custodian of. If you find your family member/s among my contributions, I will gladly transfer their memorial/s to you, unless they are my direct-line or a closer relative to me.
Do not be afraid to ask. Not only are we finding lost loved ones here, but we are bringing families back together and that includes you ...

|Joseph StCloud IRWIN||Elmwood Cemetery|
This is not a active cemetery if fact it
would be hard to find just where it use to
be located. It is about a 10 acre pasture
with waist high grass that the Sebastian
County may cut once a year. At that time you
might find 3 or 4 stones that you can not
read. In addition no one has been buried
there since 1928. It was the County pauper's
grave yard. At one time over the years, the
Sebastian County had a list of some 500
names of people buried there but no plot
where they were buried or very few head
stones as most could not pay for a funeral.
You might even find a family name but not
where they are buried. There are no sighs

I just received the notification that a picture was taken of my Grandfathers grave marker.
I have been trying so desperately to find information on him. I never really got to meet him so only knew him through my dad. When I saw the picture it brought tears to my eyes. Somehow it made him a little more real.
So I thank you from the bottom of my heart. You must really be such a great person to do this for people. It is such a small thing one would think , but no, it is not, it is a really big thing. Thank you so much. If there is ever anything I can help you with in Phoenix, please do not hesitate to ask me.

Thank you so much for the pictures of Jesse McComb's grave. He was my grandmother's stepfather but she considered him "pa" as her biological father died when she was two and Jesse was the only father figure she knew. He was very good to her. Incidentally, my grandmother is still alive at 102 1/2! She still talks about "Pa".

|Thelma Williams||RE: Daiy Farr|
Hi Cynthia, many thanks for that extra advice and the forwarding on of the additional data.
Re transferring ownership to me, I have not progressed "Farr" enough yet with this newly found site to know what all that means. I Will read further and get back if it looks to be of any help
|Charlotte Covey||Your photo request for Tiny Ann Moore|
I walked the entire Rose cemetery looking for Tiny Ann Moore (101486352). The closest thing I could find was a stone for Thresa Etola Moore born Jun 17, 1938 and died Sep 27, 1938. I have
the photo, but I hesitated to put it on your memorial because of the name difference.
Please let me know what you think.

You've already augmented this memorial SO well! I'm glad you kept the other references (especially the G/B Cem rec) so others know the connection. Best Regards, A.

I was just looking at his memorial when you added a photo of his marker. This dear little boy drowned near the falls on the Willamette river by the paper mill in Oregon City. He was waiting for his father with his little red wagon, to get off of work. It was a tragic accident. Thank you for honoring him.
