Bio

We are just moving to Hillsborough County, FL and are not too familiar with the area but will be glad to attempt to get any photos we can. My husband and I like to travel and have a digital camera so we are able to find cemeteries and take photos and try to find information for genealogists. If we have to travel, a small donation to help cover gas expenses would be very much appreciated.

I am currently researching descendants of Jonathan Schaffer born in 1810 in PA and died 1900 in IA.

I am also trying to find anyone who knows the man in the picture in my bio. He is my father-in-law and a huge mystery! The photo is circa 1944 and he usually wore glasses. His full name was Silas Robert MacMillan and he was born in 1918 in Tunkhannock, Wyoming Co. PA to Silas and Bertha MacMillan. He had six known sisters: Mary, Mahala, Margaret, Emma, Bertha, and Elizabeth. We believe he was close to his little sister Bertha because she was listed as his next of kin on his Army dogtags. He lost all contact with his family around 1944 but we would very much like to re-establish contact. He has since passed away...

PLEASE contact me if you know him! Thank you!!
