Thanks, Garry, if you have a death record other than the county record book I'd love to have it. Of course it plainly says NY, and I hadn't corrected it when I got the record transferred to me. Correction made.

For some reason the grave icon is not showing for the picture of her stone. There is a photo request. Maybe you should delete and reenter by filling the request.

I see that you put in some pictures of my family,

Do you know who has the cemetery Book, and has anyone ever gone thru the stones that are by the white building. I think some of my other relatives are buried there.

Link for Parents of George Washington Sloan
Hello Garry,

I submitted a Family Link earlier today for G. W. Sloan. Just wanted to note that the father, Elias Slone, apparently preferred to spell his surname Slone rather than Sloan. I have been researching this line as part of my maternal ancestry and in fact visited Monroe County, Ohio last month.

Elias and Elizabeth Slone are buried in Row 8, Graves 23 (Elias) and 24, per a 1987 reading of the cemetery I located in the Monroe County Genealogy Society's newsletter.

(Also, this reading implies there are markers for both graves. I'm going to submit photo requests to see if anyone can find them. The 1987 reading noted Elizabeth's marker was "Broken, unreadable".)

Let me know if you have any questions or would prefer to transfer the GWS memorial to me.

Hi Garry, thanks for such a quick edit. I am not related, so no need to transfer, however might you know of any burial listings for this cemetery? I think his wife Ellen Strahl who died in 1886 may very well be buried with him there.

RE: Amelia Abbott
Thank you for offering to transfer. Yes, I will care for her memorial and make the revisions & links. I am in the process of linking all of Almeida & Mariah's siblings to their parents. My i.d. is #47167661.
