Bio Photo My Find-a-Grave activity is only moderately curtailed by that essential 'nuisance' of "having to earn a living". I generally respond to queries, SACs and requests as soon as I can get a round tuit. Sincere apologies for all delays, and thank you for your patience. =]) Beth

A proud Canadian, I live in the Province of Ontario :D Locations of interest include all of Simcoe County (which is about an hour north of Toronto), plus Ancaster (west Hamilton) and the (former) County of Wentworth, which are due west of Toronto.

Copyright courtesy requested! If you wish to use a photo that I have uploaded to a memorial here on Find-a-Grave, and post it to another website 'as yours', KINDLY ASK ME FIRST. In general, I don't mind if anyone uses my photos for their personal records, and I would hope my name would be included for the source file. But please, if you're going to post them to a FEE-BASED/SUBSCRIPTION website (including Ancestry, which as we all know ultimately profits from _everything_ contributed to their site), it would be nice if credit to the photographer (me) could be given within the posting. I don't know if other sites make this possible, but something such as: "Photograph taken by OhSunnyOne, Ancaster, Ont" would be appreciated.
Thank you for this consideration.

"If we don't grab this data, it's gone. Stones are face down, fallen over. Some that we can read now, we won't be able to read later. Counties just don't have the resources to restore every cemetery." --

Visitor: What a nice town. Have you lived here all your life?

RE: Mayers and Jemmott in Barbados
No I meant to say we messaged on facebook and through e mail. Bermuda is still in planning waiting for passports which can take a while. Shooting for October.I was not sure about how the lines run as far as once removed and 3rd cousin but after doing a little research I think I am getting it, is really kind of exciting just finding some of these things out. Something I promised my Dad before he died, many years ago. Little slow but enjoying the discoveries. Contact on FB private message will be good. Will let you know about the Bermuda trip and cemetary and yes there will be pics.

RE: Mayers and Jemmott in Barbados
Yes I got with Fran and she sent me 400 years of Jemmott history. It is awesome. Found out that my Great Grandmother Mary Forte Mayers was the sister I believe of one of your relatives Emily Hinds "MILLIE" Mayers Seale not sure. Is the Seale name part of your family history. Seems like I read it was but not sure. I am 3rd cousin of Fran once removed. So speaking to you, glad to know you cousin

Emily Hinds Mayers Seale
You stated that this is your Great Grandmother. My great Grandmother was Mary Forte Mayers married to Conrad Best Jemmott. She was the sister of Emily Hinds Mayers Seale. Edward D Lyall Jemmott was my Grandfather. I am trying to find info on the family in Barbados. Edward died in 1915. He was only 32.

Kerr in Barbados
Yes, her stone shows that she is his wife, however I was not able to prove his burial in this cemetery or any other location, thus no links.
I presume you were wanting me to link her to him. Was that correct?

RE: FYI picture mixup, Ebenezer Cem, Simcoe Co
I had to go through over 100 and check the other day because they decided to upload sideways on me. Only took hour and half :) least this was an easier one

RE: Rev Archdeacon Henry Roe, Lennoxville
You're welcome.
I was not familiar with the area, so with a friend doing the driving we had a whirlwind tour of the area - visited 8 cemeteries. I hope to return to Lennoxville and visit St Peter's, and others.
